the only way Juve gets valuable players is when they force their way to Juve. Just look at the most recent one. Thuram turned down premier league because he wanted Juve. Surely those clubs could’ve matched or exceeded Juves offer. It’s all up to Calafiori. If he wants Juve, he should just be patient. Does he even want to leave that bad? Bologna is in CL next season. All we’ve heard is that he has an agreement with Juve. Nothing about being open to other clubs, even though Romano is dying for it so he can farm engagement from prem heads.

At the same time other journos are saying that the deal hit a stalemate, however i do believe we are still not giving up on him and that the player’s preference will count a lot, will sure push for the move here, but we’ll have to up our offer too.

to be fair it's not like juve is cheap on wages. it's pretty competitive wage wise just the elite of the elite that juve could not compete with

Bologna will be on a downward trajectory without Motta and also with them being without the likes of Zirkzee. I can see them getting belted in the CL as well.

I think Calafiori definitely leaves. Let’s just hope it’s us who sign him. Bologna can keep crying and stay butthurt about Motta signing with us. That’s the main reason they are doing this whole charade against Juventus. End of the day, if Calafiori wants to go to us, they’ll won’t want an unhappy player and have to cave in at some point.

Also, it’s their problem they got conned into agreeing to a 50% resale fee, not ours. Paratici-style negotiating by Sartori there.

Nah you know what? If we can't get Calafiori I'd sooner keep Huijsen unless we are getting an actual defensive upgrade.
huijsen isn't a long term solution. even if you put him in the starting lineup (which is too early now) he and his agent will request a move in a year or two

You're right he isn't long term, but there are very few defenders who I can think of that can do a similar job to Calafiori when it comes to carrying the ball from the back right now.
I'm not exactly sold on Kiwior despite having been already coached by Motta at Spezia.

Hope Bologna get relegated next season. Fuck then and all Italian teams.
That's what I said about Sassuolo and empoli. 1 went down, the other stayed up because roma were fuck heads.

Maybe i thought wrong. New Italy generation don't have any resemblance to the golden generation of Italy, neither loyalty nor quality.
