I've done it more than enough times and the same has happened again and again. Clearly people aren't listening so why should we clear up after them? We're moderators not bin men afterall

Call me lazy all you want but I work my bollocks off every week day, and for you to expect me to then come here and spend hours pruning threads removing every offending post one by one is a little ridiculous to say the least.

That's exactly what it is. Moderators already spend their time reading posts, closing threads, sending out warnings etc. It's like a service to the posters who may not know sometimes that they benefit from this because the community is kept in order. We really don't need the chore of deleting posts just for the sake of doing that, it's a complete waste of our time. I agree this system isn't perfect, it's not even good but it's all that the forum has to offer. We've tried repeatedly to make sure this thread doesn't get ruined and that is something we shouldn't have to spend time on.
