I know, I just said it.:) Point being?

It´s easy to say: "get the guy and punish him, he´s to blame", but in most cases the person who throws and ruins the match will not be caught. If clubs aren´t punish a lot people will not think twice before throwing stuff, and a lot of people might not try and stop people who are throwing things.

but still. you would never accept it for your own club.

Would you really though? A referee cant expect to be completely safe in a crowd of 50,000 people. Sooner or later this happens. The club will lose alot of money and already lost 3 points and 3 goals against. I think its enough. Its a football competition, football is the most important part.

People's safety is the most important: fans, players, referees, everyone.

Kicking the club out wont make a fan learn their lesson. People that throw things do it because they like being a football 'thug'. They think its cool. It will just increase their anger. The only way to solve it is to identify the people, and ban them forever. Like they do in England.

Exactly. Its always the same club(s) that have fan trouble. Something needs to be done, so punish the club as a whole. What are Romanistas gonna do next? Try and smuggle a pipe bomb into Stadio Olimpico?

Or the other thing is to just not punish them at all, and not any club for stuff like this. Maybe that will settle fans down.

humans are subjective and they fall into temptansion .
:D

True Bes, but a disciplinary board for a major footballing organ should try and be objective, it can`t be that hard.

Now that makes more sense.

Roma and the majority of the fans pay so much just for one little as$hole, who probably was a Juve fan just trying to get Roma in trouble?

The thing is that its not always easy to find the culprit.

Of course that would be the best thing. But look at how different things are in Italy. Someone smuggled in a scooter and threw onto the pitch not too long ago in Italy, in England you get yelled at for standing up. It`s great the way England has tackled their hooligan problem, but a person throwing a lighter in Italy knows that he most of the time will never get caught.

I believe they`ve caught him and he is a Roma fan, so Sensi can`t blame this one on us. ;)

Kicking any club out of the competition isn't the best solution, but they did it once, so I don't understand why they can't do it one more time, when the case is even worse.

Well Italy should deal with their problem then. And you dont get yelled at for standing up :D. But there is alot of security, you cant take anything into a stadium that you can throw and if you do throw something its possible to be tracked on the cameras.

They way it is in italy is a disaster waiting to happen. Imagine a terrorist tried something their like they tried at old trafford. Italy would never have prevented that.

Yeah, well they did catch the Roma guy, so maybe it`s been improved. Don`t know really, but there´s certainly a noticeable difference between an English and Italian crowd.

Certainly security should be as good as possible(withing certain boundaries of course), I`m with you there. Things like happened in the Roma match shouldn`t happen.
