You made it sound like you are fine with just adding Veiga and we're good until the summer. That's not enough. We need more defenders. Worst case Kalulu becomes injured tonight and we only have one pure CB left: Gatti. Then we are forced to play either Locatelli or Savona (and hopefully Veiga) next to Gatti. The depth in defense is very thin. We need one more player after Veiga
Adding Veiga we have one CB reserve + Savona, who will become a CB anyway imo. Adding 2 would be better. Buying 2 and a third in summer when another 2 return is a waste of money...
It would mean having Bremer, Cabal, Gatti, Kalulu, Kelly, Veiga and Hancko. That's 7 players for 2 positions...

so giuntoli used all of his personal charm, flew to england to convince the player and the club, yet lazio beats us for a target we'd desperately need?
not that i expected considerable reinforcements from a january mercato but, and i don't feel the need for a daily meltdown either but if we really end up with kelly then this will be a fun 2nd part of the season. and in that case we cannot shit on anyone else than the club/giuntoli, because we don't have a proper squad. before the beginning of the season we only missed one vice vlahovic if everyone was available. with bremer, cabal and danilo out, we don't even have enough bodies for ~30 games, let alone the quality of the players
