4.5m for the loan but Chelsea pay his wages and commissions. - :gdm:
that's the equivalent of 9m for a whole season with wages and amortization. currently we have 8 players who cost over 10m for a season. since danilo (10.3m cost for a year) is practically gone for the 2nd half of the season, it's not a stretch to say that we're replacing danilo with this guy, for ~the same cost

Yeah, basically this.

Btw Pedulla was once again first to report our interest in this guy

Veiga now, Hancko in the summer.
if we lose him and there's no deal in place already for a CB(Hancko) for June then it's sad.

That's a lot of money for 4 months.

Not really, it's pretty routine to pay for loans, usually around 3-5m if they without no option.

Its even more expensive if its with option at times, as a pseudo down payment type deal.

    It’s a disgusting move.
He does well and we want to keep him, Chelsea ask for a premium. Then he goes back there or sold to someone else an improved player.

This is the best Junktoli can come up with after 4 months of “planning”. Completely stupid.

Why do we assume we want him for more then half a season? Same with Ned Kelly vagabond, it's likely club just want temporary solutions for half season as fill ins.

Good deal after all, chelsea want to sell him.so not a problem if we want to sign him in the summer with 20-25 m we can take him.

The loan of #RenatoVeiga to #Juventus will cost close to €4.5M (which also includes the player's salary) ✅⚪️⚫️@ilbianconerocom

Including the salary, mentioned. Seen that one before with 'Toli. I thought it was with Conceicao.

No mention of an option, for now. Sounds weird, might get some more info later, like with Conceicao too (preferential path to the clause)

Btw he is said to be able to play LB and DM, but he pushed for the transfer to play CB. As he can gain his place in NT by playing CB, Maresca even confirmed it once.

It's a small club deal. What are we, Fulham now?

That's such an embarrassing deal that there's no recovering from this. Dude needs to resign.

It would be if chelsea want to keep him.and send to us to give some matches, but thats not a case, chelsea do not want to keep him.
It would be easy for us to get him if we want in the end of loan.

If we are spending 5m for a half season loan it should be for an experienced player who is ready to make a difference.

I'm not convinced he is that player. He seems like a raw player who has mainly played at DM with little experience that we are going to spend months developing to play CB only to hand back at the end.

How many months has Toli had to find a CB?

Yes, according to news they wanted outright sale or obligatory, we wanted option, in the end they settle for dry loan for some reason.
