Buffon is a world class keeper, and has great personality which is very important for the team and the players, take a look at cassilias, he has not the personality of buffon, and surly not good as buffon..

I ahve to admit, I've never figured out what people see in Cassilas. He's a fine keeper, but a lot of people seem to rate him among the best in the world. I don't quite understand where that's coming from.

Whoever mentioned Schmeichel and Man U is on the right track. The keeper is the most important position on the pitch these days. I'd be very relecutant to let Buffon go without a really good motive.

I'm with John. I really don't think Casillas is that great a keeper. Sure, he's young and he's won a lot of titles already, but he seems awfully error-prone compared to Buffon

I say this again, Buffon is italian, worldclass and has great charakter and personality that can motivate his team mates, and he is loved by the fans (Not only juve fans)... Can somebody tell me if cassilas has these things????

Buffon is one of the few untouchables at this club and we should do everything possible to keep him in Turin. It doesn't matter how much money Real are willing to spend on Gigi IMO because there's no better keeper than him in world football.

honestly, if the club was in financial trouble and couldnt buy any players, then id accept the 30 million plus casillas. but i buffon is the best in the world at what he does so moggi would be stupid to sell him.

in that saying that though, i think casillas is in the top 5 best so i wouldnt cry over such a deal.

maybe Casillas, samuel plus 15 million would do the trick
