Vargas was never fit to play LB. He can at times vs certain clubs but I don't see how Licthtsteiner could fail with us. He doesn't suck defensively and knows when to go forward.

Lazio paid 1.5m for him so they can make a great profit out of him if they sell him. They did sign Angeleri too so with De Silvestri they are covered at RB.

I also want the Swiss because he can help out with headers on corners and crosses coming from the left.

I think I'd prefer Motta over Lichtsteiner because I sense he'd become just another Vargas.

Umm Vargas played alot as midfielder in Catania, and it was obvious he was all offense, Licht is VERY balanced, not judging him on Lazio alone but Lille too, dude has his flank in lock both ways. If anything, you could fear Zuniga might another Vargas, because he mainly offensively.


And I prefer Motta too, but dont expect him.

Hopefully you're not talking about Molinaro.

They did sign Angeleri but maybe they're planning to sell De Silvestri.

As for Licthtsteiner, I don't really think he's bad or anything but I think I like Motta better and he's the type of RB who I like more.His crosses can help us a lot while he's good in defense.

And by the way Motta has already played as AMR in Roma when Cicinho played a RB and he was pretty good. The guy knows to attack and his crosses are sweet so if we're planning to use damn 4-4-2 he could help us more I think because he can replace Camo sometimes.

It will be hard to sign him, though. Maybe if we get Spalletti...
