I watched the match against Bolivia: he did a good performance, he was very solid. He went to attack several times (sometimes even without the ball), made an excellent cross, unfortunately Falcao missed. Zuñiga is very quick, again I heard people comparing him with Cafú (when he was younger, of course). If you ask me I give him a 6.

I don't know how he did today. Colombia loss 2-0 against Venezuela, and, if I'm not mistaken, they are in the 6th place, out by the moment of the WC.

Francesco Pisano

I've seen only few games of him, but every game I've watched him he has been damn impressive

PS Must admit he isn't very tall though
Francesco Pisano

Haven't seen much of him. But Casiraghi used him once in Azzurrini as a LB when De Ceglie was injured. He had a solid game but the opponent was Israel U-21 if I remember well.
Wait... isn't he left footed?

 no thats a different Pisano, that fucker ain't no good. He used to play for Palermo. Not sure where he is now, but if i'm not mistaken he moved to Torino i think last summer.

This Pisano plays for Cagliari is right footed and plays as an RB.

From the looks of it, it a definite upgrade to Gygera as the starting RB.

According to Gazzetta dello Sports, this RB Pisano has a very high average rating this season, 6.09 in 22 matches (9th place amongst defenders who have played more than 20 matches)

Understandable to confuse the two, but yes, the younger one in Cagliari is the impressive one. And he has been changed into a RB (due to harder competition in LB), but he is an LB originally, Francesco Pisano that is. He played as an LB the few times he was in the Azzurrini. He is rather quick and good dribbler, wouldnt mind gambling on him, as a squad player in RB.

He is not last, the list isnt in order (or do you think Matrix and Grava are the best?), check the ratings, he has the 3rd best rating after Maicon and Chiellini, behind only two of the best Ds in the league.

Kjaer is not the last. The list is very long and I only made a capture of those first 20 or something.

The captured list is in order (arranged by MV: media voto) but there is FM (fanta media) and FMA (fanta media with assit). I'm not sure abut the differences of the three ratings though (It seems that MV is the basic rating while FM is basic rating+extra points if the player does something extra or outstanding, like scoring a goal). Kjaer's FM rating is very high but his MV isn't amongst the first 10.
Matrix's average rating is high but he only played a few matches. So that doesn't say much about him. Only when one plays many games and still has a good average rating says something.

The link is here: http://www.fantagazzetta.com/statistiche_difensori.asp

Edit: OK. Here is the explanation about the differences between MV, FM, FMA in Italian. Could anyone tell the general idea? I'm not sure if I understand well.

il voto è quello che il giornalista da= the vote given to players by journalists
il fantavoto è quelle che viene fuori dalla somma e dai vari bonus/malus che si aggiungono/sottraggono= the score that comes from other sources, eg scoring a goal etc
so if u have voto:7 + fantavoto:3= 10

my translation with my limited knownledge of italian

therefore FMA is the score including the relevant bonuses/extras with the assists, while FM is without them. and in a lot of leagues its not utilised
