5.5/10

The quick addition of Hernanes and Lemina makes the midfield much more viable though. Dybala and Sandro are exciting signings.

Overall very frustrating and dimnishing mercato.

Selling Vidal with a speed of the light for peanuts, not buying proper replacement and a trequarista ,bying Zaza for 18 mil, charity transfer for Llorente ,Coman loan and overpaying Dybala makes 4/10 maximum.Timing for transfers was awful. We will need almost first half of the season for players to get used playing each other

the good:

+Sandro - quite expensive, but a WC LB.
+Mandzu - dont like him but always scores his goals.
+Rugani - great talent.
+Dybala - again expensive, but thats what you pay for a talent like him these days.
+Neto - for free, decent signing.
+Lemina - looks promising and was needed as marchisio backup.
+Hernanes - certainly not what everyone was hoping for, but a good player.
+Khedira - for free. not a fan, but good signing.
+Cuadrado - on loan, no brainer.
+Pirlo gone
+selling Coman

tha bad:

-selling Vidal - 37m is fair, but he simply cant be replaced.
-"selling" Llorente - wanted him out, but not for free...
-"selling" Tevez - cant be replaced, shouldnt have let him go for free.
-not getting a young quality AM
-Isla and DC still not sold.
-Zaza - nice back up...but WAY to expensive.

7/10

i am not going to rate the signings.

i will however say this. for the 4th straight season, marotta has been made into a clown. from aguero, to sanchez, to jovetic, to anelka, to bendtner to van persie, to sanchez again, to draxler and llorente. absolute clown when doing deals that clubs arent willing to bend over for him.

Haha yeah :D

I was close to giving it 5/10, but then went with 6/10 because I just love the Dybala and Sandro signings too much.
6/10 means you are more satisfied than dissatisfied
5/10 means you're indifferent
I can't wrap my mental midget head about this dumbass mercato, so more dissatisfied than satisfied 4/10

4/10

A weaker squad than last year and failure to fill the main objective of the summer to get a proper AM. Too much time wasted on Draxler leading to last minute panic buy. If there was ever a time that we could attract a good AM it was this summer.

Dybala is a nice addition but at a high cost.

Should have got more than 37m for Vidal, Llorente, Pirlo, Tevez. Couldn't sell Isla after a decent Coppa America.

Plus Zaza at 18m when Allegri doesn't seem to rate him is crazy.

All in all amazing mercato.
Be you, not what you think others expect you to be.

Lets try that in next post. So, how do you rate it?

I understand you, but I cant rate it below average, just cant.

I was about to click on 5/10, then looked at my avatar, and and as I said gave it extra grade solely due to this wondrous kid.
