Yeah, if that CL-less team's name was Palermo.
If you tell me that we have limited funds so we have to be sparing with our budget, okay. But selling Diego at 15M, for a 10M loss, and buying Martinez for 12 is outrageous. Quagliarella is what? Our new found source of creativity, or is he the our new found source of goals? Something tells me he is neither.

We tried to get Di Natale, Boriello and failed, thank God.
Pepe would be a good signing... if we weren't already a team of "try hard" players with no skill... But we are.
The signings that keep this mercato from being a 1 or going into negative are Krasic, Aquilani and Bonucci (although he was overpriced).

The more I think about it the more I am disappointed.
Juve's signings were absolutely horrible - signed unproven no names and axed so many Juve Legends disrespectfully (Trez and Camo) and got rid of our ONLY superstar, Diego.
The only POTENTIAL half good signing is Krasic - though he might turn out to be an absolute flop
Aquilani will use Juventus as a charity organisation as he has used most other clubs he's been at.
Quagmire is no Juve quality player. Even Napoli was testing his limits.
They signed no world class attackers.
Juve on paper now looks no better than any other mid-table Serie A side.
Milan by comparison have had a splendid transfer campaign.

- We have addressed certain problems, most notably at the back & our lack of width last season.
- Looks like we tried to go back to creating a team which is difficult to break down, but truly uninspiring. I could deal with that for now, one step at a time you know.
- Trying to form a team with an Italian core.
- We've managed to keep our most important players, despite our insecure future & the lack of CL.
Things I don't like:
- If last years injuries are anything to go by, we're screwed up front.
- We may have gone a bit overboard with the entire Italy thing, Quag & possibly Motta being examples.
- We tried to do too much, too late. Early on we were told we would have a pretty complete squad by the end of July, yet we ended up making massive changes in the last week of the transfer season. I wonder how long it's going to take before we see an actual team on the pitch.
- Diego sale. Not the sale in itself, but the way in which it was carried out (talking about the numbers & the time frame).

we still have a problem at overpaing for the players we want and are unable to sell for a decent price.
This unacceptable, esp as far as the italian market is concerned.
It could easily be a 6 if we chose to keep diego instead of quaq and maybe a 7 if we didnt lose giovinco+criscito for half of bonucci...
An 8 if martinez was the one loaned instead of motta or traore.
And a 9 if it was pazzini instead of quaq.
