    Ranieri going nowhere

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri has confirmed he does not wish to resign and will strive to lead his men to future success.

Following yet another awful display against bottom of the table Reggina, the Bianconeri have now dropped to third and are finding it difficult to get out of their current crisis.

“I feel part of this project and will always move forward,” revealed the Tinkerman.

“I won’t resign like Didier Deschamps did. These are silly errors you make when you are young Coach. I don’t know why he did it.”

Juve have failed to hit any of their targets this season. They have been knocked out of the Champions League by Chelsea, are behind both Inter and Milan in Serie A and also failed in the Coppa Italia.

“When I got here we were talking over a five-year project in order to win something. This is only the third season. I believe we are on the right track, maybe even further than we planned.

“I always said that the harmony in the dressing room is essential and it doesn’t take much to break it. There are some problems now, we cannot deny it, but we are working hard.

“When I say that I will explain at the end of the season it is because I want to have in mind the full picture.”

It is no secret that Jean-Claude Blanc and Marcello Lippi recently met up to talk about Juve’s future and this could have caused some confusion amongst the players.

“Ranieri is right, these things do not help the team and should have been left till the end of the season,” noted Cristiano Zanetti.

“We have lost everything this year and the criticism from the fans does not help us either. But we are all backing the boss. There is a project and we want to continue it together,” added Mauro Camoranesi.

DD didnt resign you mofo, show some respect you:yuck: , he was forced to resign!!
That was the second attack on DD, totally unjustified!!

I wonder what does he mean by winning smth in the five year span though....
Could he mean that winning a cup would be enough??
    Is that our highest goal??
Is this why we are ahead of schedule?? Cause we almost reached the final this year??

And i thought our goal was, not to win smth, but to become competitive...
Hmm, that was all a misunderstanding then. Now it makes perfect sense!!
We were never supposed to become competitive, just to win a cup within 5 years, before the rest of our champions retire and our team becomes full of Mellbergs, Molinaros, Marchionnis, Grygeras, Poulsens etc etc

Quite an interesting interview there Dusan, very enlightening!!

Another version of the same interview made it sound like Ranieri was criticising Deschamps for resigning mid-season, rather than for resigning.

I know he is The Juventus coach, and usually I try not to be personally critical or insulting to any member of the team, but he is such an ungracious, pompous, classless fool of an ass, I make an exception in his special needs case.

Speaking last night, Ranieri had said: "Resign? I won't do it because I'm not the sort of person to give up. I will carry on fighting. I don't think we have deserved to lose our recent games, but we have done and we have to carry on because sooner or later the bad run will come to an end."

Vialli would be a terrible choice.

Does no one wonder why he hasn't coached in years? Or why his last job was with Watford?

Oh, and you know how much he cares about Juve? He rejected the chance to be Coach last time round because he could earn more doing TV work.
if there is one thing im glad about is that Ranieri was picked over Vialli. How the hell can vialli ask for double the wages ranieri was asking, yet he is less successful, and has been out of a job for years, in addition to this he basically bancrupted Watford with poor signings, imagine Vialli and Secco, Oh God we would actually appreciated where we are at now instead. Infact if you ever go to watford (i hope for your sakes you dont) any whisper of his name and the population of the town chase after you. And to your second point Red, i dont think he cares about Juve, he hasnt since he left, he tried to talk ale in joining the premiership some years ago, he is prouder of his english connections than his italian herritage, and when i saw vialli last on sky italia he looked as stoned up as bob marley

I missed that quote!! Yes, what a brilliant idea, if only Moli would replace Secco or CR, we would ridden of 2 problems with one blow.
Well, Moli, would still be disastrous at the other spot too, but at least, we would only have to endure just one issue:burke:

Ideally, we should find him a physician role or smth, if only he could pass his endurance to the rest of our players...
with his stamina i think that his off'football-on'juventus role can be to keep the fly's out of the olimpico.

Ranieri speaks as if he should be given credit for promoting Juve from B not Didi

I too was disgusted by his comments, more so because Didi has at least proven something in his time as a player and manager at the club, more so than ranieri has done in his 2nd term here, i thought Mourinho's comments on ranieri was disrespectful enough, but this. This is a new low.

it is always wise to bash someone for an interview, that was wrongly translated by some goal.com/channel4-site ...

or is it just a smokescreen of ya'll who did say "mimimi even the players don't back ranieri" now that camo did back ranieri ?

if there is one thing more boring and predictable than ranieris tactics, than it is the ranting in this forum
