The situation has gone beyond waiting for a viable replacement - the players (and fans) are simply no longer 'with' Ranieri. So despite what the management have been saying, there is only one way this can end. Start packing Claudio.

hmm..the bullshit meter has hit a new high
so you would be happy to see spalletti? the guy is almost as much of a loser as ranieri, he doesnt come across as an authorative figure like capello or lippi who demands respect, not especially if his team gets beaten heavily every other week and doesn't seem to care. I think some of you forget who conte was as a player, the man demands respect which he will get from the senators and with that, the squads trust, much like didi did and its based on him i have trust in Conte's ability to lead this team. As a true juventino himself he understands our pain more than most of the other candidates mentioned and i have every confidence that he would make a very proactive manager

Managing Juventus and PLAYING for Juventus are 2 entirely different things...being the Coach is a different level of pressure and expectations, and unlike the squad, only ONE guy will get the blame and very rarely the accolades that he may deserve...I would not be happy to see Spalletti, but if I had a choice between Conte and Luciano, I choose the bald pixie

so in another words you'd put your faith in a proven failure over a risk.

perhaps its because we need a manager that understands the pressures of juve, like conte and gasperini, and for somebody like conte he commands the respect of the Juve players, more so than ive seen roma under spalletti
So if Pessotto gets coach license just now, you would hire him?

no because he isnt the leader Conte was. look it could work wonders much like it was with didi, and much like it is under guardiola with barca, like conte too he was a highly respected player which has aided him as a coach. Yes hiring conte is a massive gamble but its a gamble im prepared to take over another season of failure

Pessotto doesn't have the authorative character in him to lead a team. His suicide attempt doesn't scream leadership. He should stay where he is now.
unless he's leading a mass suicide....but then he prob cudn't pull that off either

(no disrespect to the man who has done so much for us)

just as Marco Tardelli was and look how good of a manager he is.

Thus, I don't see how he can remain.
If the board doesn't really care what the fans or players such as Del Piero have to say, then perhaps Ranieri would stay.

I expect Ranieri to 'resign' within a week of the season finishing. We will then appoint Spalletti or Conte.
If so, then we have to hope for Conte. I'd rather take a chance on him than Spalletti who doesn't really impress me with some of his tactical decisions. Beautiful football for sure, but that's not all that I care about.
