Its my mother tongue. Academically, most of my studies have been in English, so i'm very comfortable with English too. Everyday life, at home and with friends Arabic is what it is.

@Osman I know, but people have varying attitudes about their first language too, so I'm curious.

Do you guys have editions of the Koran in modern Arabic too?

No, absolutely not. There is only one version of the Koran, it is not written in any other way. It could be translated to other languages, but in Arabic its written in only one way.
