We DIDNT want Konko and hasnt since he was loaned out to Crotone and Siena (without impressing in either). Its NOT Secco's fault we didnt want him at all and deemed him not good enough.

Genoa got him fully and he delivered for them for a season, and they cash in on it, thats all.

I doubt any of us watched him enough to judge him when he was with Crotone & Siena although i remember he was a standout player for a Primavera and it's no coincidence Gasperini (who managed Konko with the Juve primavera) moved quickly to get him to Genoa

Why asked that we have specifically said loan. They pay 1m to have him for one season.

:disagree: Serie A loans are usually a bit complex than other leagues.. i'll be suprised if they're isn't an underlying right to buy, bid-back payment or something else that doesn't make a straight foward loan in which the word loan doesnt seem to imply.. Rarely in Italy a loan is a simple loan, especially when 1 million is exchanged between clubs

Palladino and Criscito off to Genoa

Just hours from the team meeting up – officially signalling the start of the 2008/09 season – Juventus have been busy on the transfer market again with two sales.

After Matteo Paro, another two young players grown up at Juventus will be joining Genoa: Raffaele Palladino and Mimmo Criscito.

The striker has been sold for good with a participation agreement option. The defender, who was already on loan at Genoa in the second part of last season, will extend his loan with an option for the club of buying him out completely with a participation agreement.

After depositing Giorgio Chiellini's new contract, valid until the year 2013, the Bianconeri have sold another one of their young players. Giuseppe Rizza, at Juve Stabia last year, now goes to Livorno, sold for good with a participation agreement option.

I dont feel too bad about losing both of them. Palla just lacks something to take him to the next level and Mimo needs to eat lard

At least we can still technically get them back if they become killers so its not so bad

Turin, 3 July 2008 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that these agreements have been defined with Genoa C.F.C. S.p.A.:

• disposal of the registration rights of the player Raffaele Palladino for a consideration of € 10 million to be paid by Genoa in 3 years. At the same time, Juventus and Genoa signed a player sharing agreement (ex art. 102 bis N.O.I.F.) related to the same player for a consideration of € 5 million to be paid by Juventus in 3 years. The operation will generate a positive economic effect for about € 5 million;

• loan to Genoa until 30 June 2009 of the registration rights of the player Domenico Criscito for a consideration of € 1 million to be paid by Genoa in 2 years.

5€ for half of Palladino is a good deal
