Palladino is sold the same way Lanzafame was sold to Palermo.
We sell them the player and then immediately buy 50% of the rights.

With this transfer we get to +20m eur earned with player's sales this summer. Selling Nocerino, Blasi, Paro and Rossi and loaning/co-owning Palladino, Criscito and Lanzafame brings us cca 21m eur.
On the other hand, we spent around 26-27m eur for Amauri, Knezevic and De Ceglie and we're in some 5m eur minus for now.

Like i said the other day, even if we buy Xabi Alonso for some 20m, with the sales of Tiago (we're asking for 12m eur) and Almiron (probably ~5-6m eur) we'll get back most of the money payed for Xabi.

The overall minus will be around 7-8m eur.

Has anyone else been watching him in Genoa? He didn't play much (300 minutes in 6 matches, average 50 min's per game) but so far what he has shown is far from impressive. I think letting him go was a right decision. If he improves considerably, maybe we can bring him back as a squad player...

:agree: he tries too many things at one time...if he would stop doing the tricks and flicks all the time and look to be more helpful towards the team, then he would be a far better player...that being said, he did score last weekend

The way Gasbarroni and even Sculli have been playing lately it will be tough for Palladino to get into the Genoa starting eleven. To think that we sold Gasbarroni for only 1.5 m.

Agreed. Gasbarroni and Sculli have shown more so far, Milito is sensational though.

Seen Genoa, and Palla is more technical then most, but lacking in much else compared to the others. I saw him against Viola, and he was just mainly running straight into defenders, instead of passing or crossing, when it was the last minutes and they were desperate just to get the ball uo. Typically enough, many useless tricks of running around in circles doing ZIP.

I didnt have faith in him to begin with. Just waited for him to show anything, in the midst of being hyped solely because he came from our primavera.
