Palladino To Stay At Juve?
Raffaele Palladino could stay on at Juventus next season after rejecting a move to Genoa.Palladino, who is considered as one of Italy’s best young players, has been strongly tipped to leave the Bianconero after a frustrating season during which he made just 14 Serie A starts, often sitting on the bench, or playing in an unfamiliar wide midfield role.

Juventus have been working feverishly to try and sell the skilful 24-year-old, and it seemed that late last they had arranged for him to join Genoa.

Rossoblu President Enrico Preziosi even came out in the press announcing that a deal had been done, but Palladino then rejected the transfer at the last minute.

It seems that the Neapolitan is unwilling to take a paycut, and he is now ready to stay in Turin and fight for his place next season.

Palladino will face some serious competition though, as in addition to Alex Del Piero and David Trezeguet, he will also be up against new signing Amauri, and Sebastian Giovino, who will return from his loan spell at Empoli. Vincenzo Iaquinta also could still yet stay, despite his lack of action last season.

About three days ago the Genoa President said the deal was done.

Palladino then rejected Genoa because they wouldn't match his wage demands.

Exactly. So why does he want to stay?
