i don't know if anyone noticed his reaction/celebration after he scored but he seemed quite disinterested.

i think all the talks of him being let go by juve for bringing in other players has had an effect on him. its somewhat hardened his demeanor and given him a "fuck the world" kinda attitude IMO.

yes, i am one of those who want to get rid of him at seasons end but i just noticed that he seems hurt or something and i just put 1 and 1 together.

thats just my take on the topic

I noticed his celebration . I don't think he's disinterested as I think he is angry and fed up . He has been very frustrated this season and has failed to make an impact that would ensure him a place at Juve , it's natural he wouldn't be feeling too joyous . I agree , I think all this talk about selling Palla has gotten to him .

I get what you mean now , . Despite everything , I don't think he's given up on his dreams . He still is motivated to prove himself , I also noticed that he tried to showboat everytime he had the chance to . I saw that as a sign of desperation , he would never just give a simple pass before complicating the fuck out of it almost like saying " Look at me , look at what I can do . " He has some nice touches though I have to admit .

there was one funny scene, when palla tried to tackle someone ... it was so clumsy that it was almost cute ... lol

showboating against small teams is one thing, but showing his worth against at least mediocre teams would be essential for him ...

it is a shame that he didn't have the impact we expected him to have this season. Such a talented player but he couldn't transform it into something substantial on the field.

There could be a place for him next year but it would be a minimal role on the right hand as a back up for camo. But i would prefer to let him go to somewhere where he would enjoy more playing time, his reaction after the goal says it all.

But i liked how all the players went to him afterwards, shows the tight relationship between the players and thats great.

A nice birthday gift for Palladino

Just hours before his 24th birthday, Raffaele Palladino found the best possible way to make himself a present: a superb performance against Parma and a stunning goal; a deserved award for this lad who’d been a little unlucky lately, but who could now be in for a great season finale.

Before leaving the Olimpico, the Naples-born lad had the chance to express all his joy to Juventus Channel: «I'm happy and satisfied. I come from a difficult period, I kept it all inside and today I was able to release it all. I really wanted to do well, as tomorrow is my birthday. Honestly I didn't think I was this fit, having a player like Molinaro behind me helped me as he did all the running. My goal? There was only David inside the penalty area when I went past Zenoni, so I only focused on shooting and scoring»

I thought he looked a bit emotional after he scored not so much disinterested.

Well i do feel for him too because he had a lot of pressure put on him this season. Some of is justified while the rest wasn't i guess.

Many of us in here said that this season was a make or break season for him as he is not young anymore and the team needs a bit more consistency from him. He couldn't provide on the rate expected and eventually fell out of favor (rightfully so as he was horrible at times).

On the other hand, he didn't have that much experience in Serie A and he was used mostly as a sub. And it is hard to have as much impact if you're role is reduced. Moreover you got some ppl saying he is Alex's heir or neddy's replacement and that put a lot of pressure on unexperienced players.

Ultimately, its all comes down to Ranieri's assessment of his performances this season. Then we will know what was the management's expectation from the kid as for most of us as fans he didn't deliver when we needed him the most.
