I think (hope) Paladino will finally explode and score 2 :)

We can all sense his talent, and somehow he is not so loose, still playing under (some kind of) self-pressure.

It is the right time for him to thank us for the support :)

Palladino Delighted With New Contract

Juventus star Raffaele Palladino has spoken of his delight at signing a new contract at the club.

The 23-year-old’s future had been in doubt after he complained about both a lack of first-team action and for having to play out of position.

However he yesterday put pen to paper on a new deal that will run until 2011.

“I am pleased,” Palladino stated. “After nearly six years at Juve it has made me proud to sign until 2011.

“It has never been a question of money, but a technical dispute. I spoke to Claudio Ranieri before and to the club and they both gave me important assurances.

“My priority was to sign and now I can give my all to repay the club’s faith in me.

“It doesn’t make much difference to me whether I play as a striker or on the wing – the important thing is to be playing. I am 23 and I have experimented in lots of roles and always adapted to where I am needed.

“I am hoping to play regularly and I know that Ranieri has a great belief in me and that is crucial. Lately I have found myself out on the left where I can cut in and shoot, but it is tough to score from wide.”

Palladino has been in Roberto Donadoni’s last two Italy squads, impressing hugely against both the Faroe Islands and Portugal.
The ex-Livorno man says that it is his aim to be selected to go to Euro 2008.

“Getting picked for Austria and Switzerland is my goal,” he admitted.

“I am playing for my place in the final part of the season and Donadoni’s decision will depend on my performances with Juve.”

The Neapolitan is expected to be chosen due to his flexibility of playing both in a midfield and forward role.

Palladino Is The Future Nedved - Ranieri :pado:

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri believes that Raffaele Palladino is the future Pavel Nedved.

Palladino is widely regarded as one of Italy’s best young talents, and regards himself as primarily an attacker.

However the 23-year-old has spent much of this season at Juventus on the right of midfield, a position he has publicly stated as disliking.

Palladino has also featured on the left of midfield at times, and Ranieri believes that the player could be the long-term replacement for Pavel Nedved in this role.

"Yes, he expresses himself better on the left than on the right,” Ranieri told Tuttosport.

Playing in that position he gave the cross for Camoranesi in the championship match against Inter.

I said to his agent and to the club. To me Palladino is the future Nedved.”

Palladino signed a new contract yesterday with Juventus, extending his current deal until 2011.

"I am very satisfied. He is the player of the future, and has great quality,” Ranieri noted.

This Sunday Palladino is expected to play at left midfield as Nedved is suspended following his red card against Torino in the derby on Tuesday.
