Firstly, we need to actually verify if he even said it. Or if he did, he made one comment that got twisted to a whole article of spinned crap.

In any case, if you mean this part of the fabricated articles:

"I challenge any striker in Italy to play as a winger," Palladino complained earlier this week.

"I do it with pleasure in order to play more, but it's clear that I'm a striker who is trying to adapt to a different role.

“I need to play more often, and unfortunately, I often read overly excessive criticism while I'm trying to sacrifice myself, playing on the wing and often retreating to defence."

He is just stating the obvious, and nothing to criticise him over. Especially if they keep asking you repetetive and leading questions in talk shows when he is busy oogling over the hot showgirls.

Not much of a complaint (despite how much its exaggerated and overblown), especially one that deserves criticism or for fans to constantly question him for. Ale said the same valid and obvious thing regarding him and the NT. He is not a winger.

But Giovinco would be better playing in the centre, though Ranieri doesn't want to use that position in his system so Giovinco will probably move to the left.
