Thanks
He only does that with Del Piero.
I think the positional issue could be the reason for Alex not to be included in the EURO squad. Donadoni said several times that he likes to play with wingers and Del Piero already said that he want to be fielded as a striker.:faq1:

Last week. Check his thread.
I will,thanks.

He has the most useless dribbling moves, I don't think I've ever seen him shake off a defender with them. All he does is shield the ball and ends up going backwards with it, yet he's persistant at trying to dribble.

I heard once that he likes to watch c.ronaldo playing, i guess he's trying to copy his moves

Then you my friend have never seen Phil Neville do his lollipop step overs to try and dribble past people. I swear if I was a referee and Phil neville did that in my game I would book him for attempting it

Aye, just like millions of kids everywhere.
Extra funny he is older then C.Ronaldo then, if he trying to copy his moves like an impressionable young fan.

I should be glad for Juve players, but it totally senseless he was called up for the NT, least deserving of all except Semioli being called too. Funny thing is Donadoni is to persistent with playing mainly wingers, and he called up Palladino as one. Though he is not NT material as a forward too, he atleast doesnt suck as much there as he is as winger.

Good for Palladino, but I have to really question Donadoni's intelligence with these call-ups.

How can Palladino be the lone Juventino with Zanetti, Legrottaglie, Del Piero and Iaquinta being healthy and much more deserving of a call up. Especially with the likes of Oddo, Cassetti, Semioli, Ambrosini, and Boriello getting the call. Of course, Donadoni will say "his doors are open" and that he's just trying out differrent things, but Italy just squeaked into Euro and are in the toughest group. They really should be playing their strongest players.

Zanetti has retired from international football.

One can only assume that Donadoni doesn't see the need to call up Alex or Iaquinta for a friendly because he knows they can cut it at that level.

Legro was always a long shot.

I never knew Zanetti was retired from international football. Interesting if true.

If ADP and Iaquinta weren't called up for the friendly because he knows they can cut it, then why call up Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Pirlo and Toni? We all know they can cut it at that level.

Legrottaglie is a long shot for sure... but he's had a better season than most of the defenders called up... and now Matrix is out and he's been replaced by Gamberini. I think that has to be pretty annoying to Legro.

Zanetti only confirmed it a few days ago.

I'm only guessing/hoping that is the case with Ale and Iaquinta. With Donadoni almost nothing would be a surprise.

Yeah, you're right... I just read that a few mins ago. Its a shame, he's playing excellent football right now.

I think Donadoni is a plain and simple fool who has one of the biggest pools of talent anywhere to pick from, and continually makes questionable decisions.
