Palermo demand Palladino in Juventus bid for Amauri

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has made Palermo striker Amauri a prime target for the summer market.

"I am a little short in attack," admitted Ranieri after their draw against Catania on Saturday. "Of the three strikers I have available, (Alessandro) Del Piero and David Trezeguet are in the best shape, but I have not forgotten (Vincenzo) Iaquinta."

Ranieri wants Amauri for next season, but Tuttosport says he may have to sacrifice Raffaele Palladino to land the Brazilian. Ranieri sees Palladino as Pavel Nedved's heir, but Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is insisting the youngster be included in any Juve offer for his star man.

according to tribalfootball.com:D
That Ranieri is driving me mad! before the season starts he didnt want to sign another Attacker claiming that 4 are enough, then he insisted on neglecting Palla and playing Iaquinta while he was in a shit form, then after Iaquinta proved himself as a very good signing, Ranieri kept benching him, we needed him badly last Saturday but Ranieri gave him 10 mins !! and now he says he's a little short in attack!!

Plus If Palermo want Palla in the bid, it will be an exchange, because Amauri = Palla + Cash isnt the right equation

Keep Palla in Juve Ranieri and Start using your players right

If we were to play with three strikers, getting another attacker would make sense. Tough chance of that happening though, with Ranieri making statements like "4-4-2 is in Juve's dna". On the other hand, with Ranieri's fickleness you never know.

Buying another attacker doesn't make sense. Getting back Gio or VDV is the ideal thing.

Having 4attackers in one team is the best thing. 5 always creates headache and lot of tension between players/coach and everyone.

In order to play with 3 strikers, coach must have good defense and midfield, and that will happen first. Its just BS as he and management want to take off attention from our real targets..

Even i got hooked up as for some time i was thinking Lampard will come..

i feel sorry for Palla, he has shown a lot of promise but it is very hard coming in a team and then being taken out the next week. He needs a run of games, but unfortunatly it is critical for us to get in the Champ. League next season. We cannot afford to put him in at the expence of better players.

Manure would offer a proper bid, Palla is a true Juventino and has patience, we will always need an Italian back up as a forward, even if he doesnt become any better than Iaquinta, his place in Juve makes sense, if we bring someone as good as Hunter though, we should loan Palla out!
Giovinco and Marchionni are more appropriate to cover Neddy's place!

If I had a choice between Marhcionni and Palla, I'd take Palla. Marhcionni is injured way too much and has little influenc over our style.

Marchionni can defend a bit better though, no one can imitate Neddy on this perspective,
but we would need a world class LB to compensate for the void between Neddy's and Palla's defensive abilities/contributions. Marchio would be the wisest choice for an Italian flat 4-4-2. But Palla is still young, he can learn to defend, i wonder if this is a good thing or a waste of a forward...

what pisses me off is that Ranieri keeps changing his role/position....designate 1 role for him and let him work there...he will definitely do well because he has fantastic ability
