Will Not Quit Juve – Palladino

Juventus youngster Raffaele Palladino has reiterated his intention to continue playing for the Old Lady.

Raffaele Palladino has had his most successful season so far, with Juventus in the Serie B, and recent rumours suggested that he could be sent out on loan to a different club in order to help him play regularly, and gain more experience on the pitch.

However, the young forward has insisted that he wishes to stay with Juventus: "I have a contract with Juve running until 2010.

"Granted, it would be important for a young player ho acquire experience and continuity, because only in such a way a player can improve, but I don’t think it is necessary for me to temporarily join a different club as I am loyal to the Juve project."

"I know there is limited space for me up front as Del Piero and Trezeguet are the club’s top choices," he admitted. "But I repeat, I would like to stay here.

On Juve's next season, Palladino is optimistic: "I believe that with the current team we can easily finish among the first 4 of the Serie A next year.

"Perhaps we need another 3 or 4 players to add to the squad. However I can assure you that the current team is already competitive."

i believe that's a big exaggeration

I actually do think we are capable of top 4 with our current squad + Grygera and Brazzo. I still think we got better team then Lazio, Empoli and Fiorentina. Though a transfer or two just to be safe wouldn't hurt. ;)

Palladino's worth something like 8-9 million euros IMO. He's not just a Serie B attacker with a good season. That's bullshit. He played regularly for JUVENTUS this season, that ought to up his price tag.
