No worries.

About Toni, your hatred to him doesn't deny the fact that he can replace Trezeguet properly, if the latter decides to leave. Actually, I explained my opinion about Toni a lot in his thread.

By the way, why do you hate him?
I dont hate him as a player...I meant I hate him coming to Juve, as he is already older than Trezeguet...will be 31 next year...will cost us loads of money, and he still has 2 or 3 years on top level...
DO u think its worth all the money?!!!

Trezeguet's birth date is 15/10/1977 and Toni's birth date is 26/05/1977, this means that the difference is just 5 months, which isn't a big deal.

And for Toni to cost us loads of money, this is expected if we decide to add a world class striker to our squad. Besides, we won't buy Toni unless we sell Trezeguet, hence, we won't pay a lot.

:agree: right, but why to buy when we already have if not better, a similar player (Trezeguet)?!!!

Besides, Fiorentina is asking for 30 million euros to release him...! thats too much.
Trezeguet wont bring us more than 17!
We can buy Huntelaar for max 20 million, but we will have him for many many years to come!
After our demotion to B, I thought that we'll have a new Juve as our management said ...why should insist on sticking to old players?!!!
anyway thats my 2 cents, and its normal that you also have your own opinion which i respect as well...

Your nice words are appreciated, Rami.

I'm not saying that we should sell Trezeguet, I said that if the latter decides to leave, we should look for a proper replacement and Toni would be perfect.

Regarding the age factor, I'm with the opinion of lowering the average age of the whole squad, but we still need an experienced striker. Therefore, with the presence of (for example) Del Piero, Trezeguet (or Toni), Palladino, Paolucci and Pizarro, we would have all the age variations for our front line.

In my opinion, I think that we can get around £14m from selling Trezeguet. Besides, Fiorentina won't ask for more than £20m to let Toni go.

Ehh, what do you think now?

Ok Ahmed...I agree about Toni's price ...20 mil. pounds are almost 30 mil euros!
As for trezeguet, according to many media sources his value will be around 17 mil euros...
I also agree about finding a replacement for trezegol, Toni is good but for a short time...3 years Max!
Huntelaar is a similar type of player to both toni and trezeguet...but much younger and cheaper than Toni...the only doubt you may say that he isn't proven outside of Netherlands...
But so was RVN, Ibra and others!
If we miss on him now, we gonna regret it later...
Now is your turn of what you think! :D

Actually, I haven't watched Huntelaar a lot to give a fair opinion about him, but I heard a lot of people praising him and hinting at bright future that is waiting him.

However, I don't mind adding him to the squad, but we'll still in need of another striker, I suggest adding both Pizarro and Paulocci to the front line.

Hence, it would consist of Del Piero, Palladino, Paulocci, Huntelaar and Pizarro.

I agree with you...we should have 5 strikers...
If Bojinov is bought, then we can send Paulocci on loan...
If Trezeguet stays, then we dont need Pizarro...and this could be the best option as Huntelaar will be able to grow under Trezeguet... :smoke:

we wont get cassano , in fact i dont think that we will get any small forwards. As that would mean that Palladino's renewal was useless.

Raffaelle will start getting the big bucks if thats really the case with the 1.1m, the expectations will increase.
Word, mate. I hope your predictions come true.

I agree with the bold bit but I'd add Toni to my hate list :smoke:
:agree:

I´d rather take chances with Huntelaar than buy Toni. I cannot deny that Toni would replace Trezeguet properly, but so could Huntelaar if he really is that good as we expect him to be. Add to that Huntelaar´s price is lower and we could get more out of him. It´s time for a new era in Juventus, we won´t rely only on oldtimers anymore, it seems that DD rates youngsters much more highly than both Lippi and Capello.

He should be ready to play on Saturday.
Palla fit for Saturday - excellent! Thanks Dom.
The prodigious Raffaele Palladino is on the verge of signing a new contract with Italian giants Juventus.
The 22-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Italian football and Juve, who hope to ensure promotion to Serie A this season, see him as a key figure for the future.
The Old Lady are expected to offer Palladino a new contract until June 2012, thus tightening their grip on the former Salernitana ace.
The Serie B leaders are keen to tie down the man nicknamed 'Palladinho’ by President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli given the uncertain futures of David Trezeguet and Valeri Bojinov.
Trezeguet, contracted until June 2008, is set to be sold while the Bulgarian will probably return to Fiorentina once his co-ownership deal expires in the summer.
As a result, the Under-21 international is close to committing himself to the outfit despite interest from clubs such as Manchester United.
“Palladino is an untouchable player,” confirmed Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco recently.
The forward, whose current deal expires in 2010, will reportedly net a pay increase too which will result in him receiving around £1.1m a season.
Meanwhile, reports on Tuesday continue to claim that Juve are still hoping to lure Luca Toni from Fiorentina in June.
Real Madrid’s Antonio Cassano may also be an option, seeing as he shares the same agent as Palladino.

Thanks Rami. Good news about Pallagol although I hope we keep Valeri too.

So,

1) Palladino has signed a contract extension with us till 2012.
2) Reports have still suggested that Trezeguet is on his way out of Delle Alpi. 3) Also reports still suggest that we're chasing Toni.
4) Rami is keeping on the great work. ;)
5) That Cassano rumour has taken place in the headlines once again.
Actually, the part that I hate the most is the rumour linking us to that troublemaker aka Cassano.
1) Palladino has signed a contract extension with us till 2012.
2) Reports have still suggested that Trezeguet is on his way out of Delle Alpi. I'd rather he stayed - for a year or two at least.
3) Also reports still suggest that we're chasing Toni. :disagree: I'd rather have Huntelaar - a better chance of him being a long term prospect.
4) Rami is keeping on the great work. ;) Forza Rami!
5) That Cassano rumour has taken place in the headlines once again. :sigh: Oh no, not him again! We don't want him.

Word, mate. I hope your predictions come true.

Glad someone agrees with me. :)
