i disagree with you mark83, i think that palladino will get the chance cuz Boji can't play byhimself upront and the same goes to palladino.(mybe am just hoping)

But Palladino played a good game last night and that could convince DD.

If Palla don't get chance in this game than he never will, and we should release him It would be good for him and his career and also for Juve (one salary less). Please don't take this too harsh, but what's the point to have player in this case striker who will not play a single minute.

Bit I'm hoping he will get chance to play and show us his capabilities. This is a real to chance to see are we overrating him or not.

Looking foward to next game and see outcome.

Thing is, DD sees our forward line as being DP-Trez. Can't blame him for that, it's clearly the best line up when everyone's available.

Now DD said that Bojinov didn't play a lot because he considers him as being similar to DP, and as DP has been untouchable the last weeks, Boji couldn't play a lot.
As for Trez, I guess DD sees Zalayeta as his replacement.

So I guess Palladino is the fifth striker, and will have to wait that three forwards are injured.

DD said that? Hmm, I would've thought Palladino is similar to DP, I thought Bojinov would play more like Trez, as the out and out striker.

I really hope Palladino can start with Bojinov on Saturday.

Juve have made these mistakes b4 as well...they r not rotating the strikers at regular intervals and then one gets injured and becomes missing for a longer period of time...give DP-Trez a rest regularly...it will keep Boji and Zala sharp

:agree: Both DP & Trez are out at the same time. If there had been rotation on the frontline, the risk of this would perhaps been lessened & it would have given the younger players a chance to gain some experience.

This game might really be Palla's only chance to prove himself. Seeing that he's behin Zalayeta, Bojinov, and Guzman on the subs list.

I really like what Ive seen of Palladino so I hope he can impress. Italy lacks the technically gifted support striker of old.

Del Piero is the only one left coz I still see Totti as a Midfielder. Gone were the days of Baggio and Zola.

Under-21 international Raffaele Palladino seems set to leave the Old Lady as early as January.

He’s struggling to break into the Juve first team, a fact which has attracted the interest of Udinese and Roma.

The 22-year-old was already close to moving to the Friuli-based side in the summer, but the agreement for his co-ownership was not finalised.

“I thought I would play more,” said Palladino. “However, we all know that there is a lot of competition at Juve.

“Obviously a young player only wants one thing, that is to play more and more. I only hope that a new chapter will soon start for me at this club.”

Palladino, though, will start in Saturday’s match with Albinoleffe given the club’s striker crisis as Alex Del Piero, Marcelo Zalayeta and Trezeguet are all out injured.

Blehhh. I understand his point of view, but it's not as though Juve doesn't need backup players. DP and Trez are rather untouchable, or at least they were before both got injured. It does seem strange that Zalayeta is before Palladino on the pecking order. Come January, we'd be better off getting rid of him than Palla, even if it leaves us without a second target man.
