Yeah just got home from work, been playing vs my brother (already working on downloading an option file lol), our first game, after he was home playing for hours, me PSG him Atletico, I win 9-4  (my brother usually tough opponent, but these mofos were just too lethal) Cavani scores 6 goals. Man the new feel and animation and dribbling scheme is crazy good with players like Neymar, Mbappe, Verratti etc.

@Osman I think I made a decision, quite the hard one tbh since I've been playing FIFA since 94, but this year I'm going with PES. I find the gameplay exciting. Realistic movement and great ball physics.

Great choice CK, only downside is outside the pitch with PES. But usb drive and some fan made dedication, aka option files to edit and update the game to full license for kits and names, then you are set to go. My go to place is pes gaming forum for such needs.

Jay get it as quickly as possible, this is considerably better then past few PES, the movement, dribbling in particular, and revamped animations is amaze balls. Players pace is actually legit this time, you can burn defenders in much more natural way, helpful feints and touches is incredibly varied now. The shit you can do with Dybala, haha god damn. Freestyle footie for certain players. For some their style is more key then stats. For example I had Forsberg and later Brahimi, their ball control/dribbling is alright at low 80s, but how they move is carbon copy of their real selves, virtually instoppable if you get hang of their move sets (I think it's due to new stat called strong on the ball, thats very important now).

Only game play downside is you can't get freekicks basically it seems (corners and indirect freekicks much better now, tho challenging to score on), but I believe its something they will tweak in first patch.

P. S playing on super star now is legit hard. Good luck winning 3 games in a row with it even if you facing Benevento or Spal hehe.

Last release I found too easy, I could stroll through superstar level not really concentrating. I reckon eventually that'll be the case with this, it takes a couple of months to learn all the little niches.

I'm currently doing MyClub at the moment. Haven't a clue what I'm doing. Hired Allegri as manager. And Dybala has gone after his loan period of 8games. Got 2 black balls and unlocked Iniesta and (wait for it) Big Mac. The rest are gash and made up of Podolski, Moses & A.Young. :weee:

I never found superstar hard in any edition until this one, maybe because it's new to me, but I think they made a legit effort to make the CPU OP lol. Helps that the defending is not as easy before so you will find AI finding wtf opening plays behind your defense, facing Harry Kane was completely menace with how punishing he was on chances. Forget about it if it's a quick top player hehe.

Superstar isn't highest difficulty anymore Btw, if you win 5 games in a row in that difficulty you will get a new one called legendary. Perhaps the reason why they made it harder actually.

some say most Juve faces are better in FIFA and transfers not updated.

    :frown:
Transfers you update with one quick live update that takes 30 seconds.

Faces, pretty much everyone was accurate to me, except perhaps Pinsoglio maybe.

Now this is pretty cool. I only played the demo so far, I'll buy it either today or tomorrow and my experience so far as a mainly FIFA legendary player is of struggle playing in Superstar. I couldn't win a single match but then I go down one difficulty and its a 95% chance of victory.

So I'm sticking to superstar until I learn all the ins and outs. And it's great to know once I master that there's a even harder difficulty. I like me a challenge.

All reviewers said it's meh okayish when compared to UT.

UT is FIFA's money cow, they can't be beat at that. It's where they invest the most money. Same goes to the licenses.

So imo PES already has the best gameplay and physics, they should now focus on presentation... better commentary, atmosphere and visuals/interfaces. Make master mode or whatever it's called have as much depth as Football manager and it will blow The Journey and Career Mode out of the water. Online FIFA will always be ahead and it's a hopeless fight.

Well, i almost only play online, so PES is not for me i guess.

Playing against friends every now and then, but against CPU? God no.

As fucked up UT is, it's the mode i spend the most time with, along with online Seasons.

It's alright really. Like the "chemistry" thing I prefer the way it's on FIFA tho. But playing the game feels so much better on PES. Especially the way you score goals looks so real. Unlike the other one with that finesse crap.
