Honestly I HATE the game when it has the fake names and logos...but Forza Patches, that stuff can be fixed quite easily...atleast they will still have the real names of the players

Go to Formation Setting then choose Setplay Settings then choose player to go up you can choose 3 players to go up on the corners and free kicks
Dude, there's no such thing as Setplay Settings here.

Seriously, no one knows how to make CBs go up for corners on PES08 for PS2? :wallbang:

My Chiellini is just begging for it :D

Gameplay is what matters the most. And in that field they are a lot better than Fifa. I can live without license.
Agree completely. As long as they have Serie A license though, would just hate to play with a fake-ass Juventus jersey and without our glorious logo pleasing me eyes :flag3:

@osman-who cares if you are playing as sevilla, with all the player names, when the gameplay is shit. it's all about the gameplay and for that then FIFA is miles behind

I have played on both and I have to disagree with you, pro gameplay is still better but FIFA in the newest installment have made leaps and bounds in this area, one thing I have noticed on FIFA this year is that a player plays as the do in real life, no more skilling players on with Gary Neville, it has become very close this year. In terms of online though FIFA is undoubtedly better as they have the might of ea on their side. But pro have given FIFA a kick in the teeth by getting the CL licence. It's all very close....

with FIFA i found that after a few games,if you simply pressed the control button and shimmied away the defense were left floundering. i knew i didn't like it as i scored the 8th goal in a 8-0 win but felt no satisfaction,it was just too easy!

i did beat teh same mate 4-0 on the pro-evo demo but i was made to work hard for it,every goal came with a sense of satisfaction that i had worked my ass off to create the goal

tehrein lies the difference for me

If it's the same as the PC version, you just go to the place where you decide who takes set pieces. There should be left corner, right corner, long FK etc and at the bottom somewhere there should be an option to choose players to go up.

Strange if there isn't one on the PS2.

I dont even think of FIFA, its not even an option I ever think about. (even I hear from PES players that FIFA improved alot).

But I have been playing PES for 8 years, and despite it being the only game I play all year long, I still hate how the fucking creators are retards that are taking us for a ride, completely stagnated in its evolution because its CHEAPER for them, they are relying on the hype of the game and give fuck all to give out a decent allround package. I mean, why the fuck do they give little care and time for things that would enrichen the game? (I mean, lose the WHOLE La Liga license? I fucking matters big time) Taking step backwards for sure.

I mean master league for example, it hasnt changed for a solid 4 years, they come out with zero new ideas for it. Its boring as heck to play it, nowadays I just play multiplayer, and I have usually allways been a player who puts in alot of time in master league, even if MP is the most fun.

You have to have some kind of expectations, if you just accept the half-assed attempts they make the game with, they will take you for granted and just get worse and worse, as they have been.

I am avoiding the demo.

My full real impression I want to get with the full game, with a whole weekend of playing it with my 3 wacky brothers. Playing the demo ahead has tainted the experience a little bit too much, less fresh.

There's a hundred of PS type of controllers for the PC, not to mention the XBOX360 controller is 100% compatible with the PC. There's absolutely no difference, except, depending on your hardware, the superior graphics on the PC.
