that would still mean having to restructure the divisions, the reserve teams have to start somewhere which could mean expanding the number of teams in at least one of the divisions to accomodate these reserve teams which the teams in those leagues may oppose to since it may limit their chances of promotion at the lower end of the league tiers.

our primavera play every week in campionato Primavera and at the end of the season they play play offs. also you have two cups.
but in england they call it b teams but that are also the highest youth teams.

that is not what we're saying. we're talking about how the spanish reserve teams play in the actual spanish tier only they can never be promoted to the premier division, that is something very difficult to incorporate in Italy.
