Because we have loads of new players? :boh:

They were only 1 goal games against good opponents anyway, and we had a man sent off in each loss (Milan also).

With just a few hours to go until the first team make their Serie A bow, today sees the Primavera contest their first championship fixture. The Bianconeri are to face Fiorentina at 4pm.

It will prove to be a fascinating test for the young side, coming up against one of last season’s main contenders who enjoyed Italian Super Cup success over Roma. Today’s game will also be special for Marco Baroni, who takes to the dugout for the first time in his hometown.

All the action is to be broadcast live on Sport Italia.

The Primavera have begun their season by dipping in Firenze. Marco Baroni’s side were beaten 1-0 away against Fiorentina, one of the strongest sides in the league who enjoyed Super Cup success last season against Italian champions Roma.

The match was settled by Babacar’s goal shortly after the ten-minute mark. His well executed free-kick proved to be the decider, despite the Bianconeri enjoying a strong second half. Di Liviero and Magiotta had the best opportunities, both testing the Viola’s goalkeeper.

Juve’s young guns will have the opportunity to get off the mark next Saturday, as Modena make the visit to Chisola in Vinovo.
