I think it all depends on the area. Italians are great at fashion, the Germans are great at cars etc

German cars are known all over the world and in high demand, just like Italian fashion brands

Where the English have a clear edge on Germany and Italy is in terms the language. While Germany and Italy have a great history and contributed so much does it hamper them their languages are not spoken outside of Europe bar a small areas here and there. English and Spanish have a clear advantage there
That is true. I've heard that in Latin America LaLiga is the most followed football league, not the EPL. It is because of the Spanish language.

will it tho? Chelsea and Liverpool are the only EPL teams to win it in recent memory
So that's two winners in the last 3 years and two all-English finals in the same timeframe.

If this is not a sign of a worrying trend then I don't know what is.

And this is just the beginning. Wait until the PL doubles/triples their TV deal and blows every other league out of the water.

La Liga had Messi and Ronaldo and therefore maintained a following from abroad. Now that they've both gone, except the EPL to dominate for at least another decade.

only reason super league was a thing is cause European old guard fucked up. same reason oil barons don’t invest in Spain and Italy
If by old guard you mean federations, ok.

If you meant clubs...Agnelli has been talking about it for eons, not since recent failures. And clubs were talking about it even in the 90s.

American model really is the way to go. It's almost perfect. Make it 80-90% Murican, 10-20% socialist European.

you do realize that the American model is way more socialist than the European one?

In the US, all the teams split the TV revenue profits, the bad teams are rewarded by getting to first pick of the new players, and if you just decide to be bad, you can. You still get paid for it.

You're right, it is within the top division (and this is something Euros don't get), and that's almost how it oughta be. Keeps inflation and P$Gs in check while promoting more competition. Instead, currently you've no laws and PSG and soon Newcastle can do whatever they want with EPL running away with the riches. In decades, it'll be bad for EPL too with fans inevitably losing interest.

Socialist as in Malmos in CL and thinking Pisa and Alessandria will someday win Serial A and that current system is somehow fair and equitable for them. Make it a semi closed loop system if not a closed one.

Newcastle are working to sign the dream Zidane as a coach, who is at the moment free after leaving Real Madrid. [Daily Mirror ]

The French coach doesn't seem convinced with this destination, preferring becoming either the coach of France or of Juventus, where not so long ago Allegri started his new tenure.

Glad to see England saving football, even if it’s at the expense of women, homosexuals, and those stupid low class migrant workers.
i don't know why but English players play poorly outside PL, i'm even trying to remember English players outside England, and i only remember Chris Waddle in Marseille ...

That's always been England, they're coming out of the closet through football.
