Lester just lost the support of the entire world because of this sacking and I wouldnt be surprised if they get booed every game till they go down.

They wont be able to get a manager of his profile again. They are fucking Lester. They are lucky to have had a coach who led Juve, Inter, Roma, Chelsea and Valencia at some point. Its gonna be shakespear and allardyce types from now on.

If the Allardyces and Shakespeares help avoid relegation then the sack will have paid off. There so much cheesy shit on the media right I cringe all the time.

I like Ranieri and I always rated him higher than most because of what he achieved in 07/08 but he gained 21 points in 25 games in 16/17 - and the squad is definitely better than that. Danger is too high and too much is at stake. Ofc, emotionally I wish them relegation now but from their pov it was an understandable call. It's too late to sack a coach if a team is already sitting in relegation zone and trailing, like Pescara.

They should have anticipated the public's reaction to that sacking. My prediction is that they will go deeper in free fall because now everyone will be rooting against them. I think they have a lesser chance of survival now than they did before. Ranieri is a much better coach than those brits can ever dream of becoming and they will have insane pressure on them.

Lets see how you'd the cope with the pressure of losing about 100k, let alone a 100 million i understand their move, and in a way it's a hedge in case they do go down, they would say we tried all we could

But its really them shooting themselves in the foot.

For two reasons:

A) They wont find a better coach than ranieri especially mid season.

B) Even if they do find a top coach say Mancini or Hiddink, the whole world and a large part of their fan base will be hoping they get relegated and that will probably affect them badly.

And then they will all be remembered as that ungrateful club that had no loyalty. Which is terrible PR for them.

Keeping him and ordering the players to get in line or face disciplining to me is obviously the better choice.

I thought they did very well at the second half with Sevilla. Strange that they sacked him after their best football for a while. And I mean 2-1 away with current Sevilla is a fucking great result.

Yeah, it was an odd time for them to sack him. They held well against sevilla and the fact they did should have given them confidence to go through. It's Premature as well, 13 games is still a lot of time.
