Basicly I'm almost broken as one can be, some mofo decided to go all in with an elbow to my ribs week before so I would forget my knee pain :D doctros say it's not a fracture or anything but a month is minimum before the pain will start to go away, awesome...

Have 3 more games in two weeks will have to resort to painkillers most likely...

And then one month no football, looking really forward to that.

How are you healing up, Raz? Tomorrow I've got my first game in about 6 weeks. I've just been so overwhelmingly busy that I've not had time to play football. Which kind of sucks, but I've been busy with good things mostly.

Looking forward to playing tomorrow, absolutely gasping

Second half of the season started already and I'm on the sidelines with injuries. Finished the first half of season with injuries to knees and ribs, ribs healed but the knees I went to doctor for and found out I had a clean tear in meniscus and damage to ligaments too, played two month with those injuries :/

So now I'm out for the rest of the season most likely. And won't play in the middle just to get my body some rest and heal for the next season. As for this season results it seems they won't be that good, after my injury we went from 2nd to the middle of the table, hopefully the team picks up and I at least will get some medal for this season :D It's brutal being on the sidelines and wanting to get in and play but not being able to.

Good to hear it's football for you tomorrow, hopefully your team will win and you'll have a good game.

Made my return to football last week after 2 months of barely being able to walk because of my back. Still not 100%, but it's nice to be able to run again. I've played 3 times in the past week or so, and slowly getting my fitness back and losing the rustiness after not being able to do any exercise for a long period of time

Sorry to hear that bro, what happened to your back? I'm wary of rustiness for me tonight, been a long time without any game time.

Thanks man! I'm not sure if this being my first game in so long will mean that I'm super hungry for the game, or that I'll be really sloppy and lacking fitness. Although as somebody pointed out to me those two aren't mutually exclusive :D

I feel you, man. Both of you actually. Injuries are the worst, nothing worse than wanting to get involved with some action but not being able to. Wish you a speedy recovery!

I have no idea to be honest. One day I just woke up and it was just feeling a bit tight, I sort of ignored it and went on my normal routine, playing football like 3 times a week. The pain began to increase, so I said it is best that I rest. I rested for like 3 weeks, went to play a game, and the pain was immense. From that game till like 3 weeks ago (so a span of over 2 months) I could barely walk with no pain.

I went to a number of physios, and all had different opinions. One said sciatica, one said potential slipped disc. I eventually went to a Chinese physio (@JuveJay), and while he was working on my back he was asking questions, and he said that it was something in my tendons and ligaments, cause the pain was from my lower back till my ankle! Went to 4 sessions, and now i'm at 90%.

No idea what caused it all though, though i've narrowed it down to: sex, a mis-step while playing football or bad posture when lifting weights.

you'd try, but you still wouldn't manage too often!

Obviously when i'm fit and in form, not like I am now where I'll be dying after 30 mins of playing lol

Not my best game tonight. Very obvious rust from not playing in a wee while. Can quite easily recover that sharpness by getting more regular games again, though.

Played 7x7 today, tried my knee after a bit of warm up. Well I think I will manage easier teams in 11x11 and mediocre 7x7 if I don't over do it and keep it simple.

    A win btw :D

    Yeah it was.

It was equal 15 minutes, but then it was one sided. It was very hard and akward first 15 minutes for me too. I was so rusty and still checking my knees, wanting to do stuff with the ball but the body would just fail doing it :D But then it went better and better.

Anyone else completely shit like me? Like, Bonucci level fuck ups and liability, but everytime they're on the ball? I was never athletic, but I fell in love with the game when I was 15. I've played several seasons since then and I've been shit in every one. I'm slow, short, and on the ball I just get super pressured and never do anything right. I fear the ball coming to me in 11v11. I gave up at 18. I still really wish I could play though.

you just needed a someone who would have taught you what to do - speed and height is nothing, you can have ur own role on the field and it's about ur skills, not about ur weight/height/speed, also you will handle the pressure after you'll become more experienced player
