i hate to see our great players play for other teams.
it's definitely not their first choice to leave juve, but we cannot ask them to stay in serie B without knowing when we are going to come back to serie A.
they deserve to and shall play in a higher level league, though i think there's no other better leauge match in the world with juventus being a part of SERIE A.
i don't think that juventus will ever the same as it used to be before the world cup, when we are back.
juve is definitely not gone forever, but we are not the same any more.

I'd say we loan them out for this season. But the first thing to do is to fight the verdict. And if we win (a point reinstatement would be a win in my book), we sell those who want to leave at their market value.

Make no mistakes, Juve will be back!

for the immediate future, selling our stars would be tough to recover from, since they are all on top of their game, in one way or another. however, in the long run, it would be beneficial, if we play our cards right. whatever the outcome, these next five years shall be hard.... probably the hardest i can imagine.

it will be hard to see great servants like buffon, zambrotta, thuram, cannavaro and trezeguet leave us :(.

I'd agree if the points deduction wasn't so severe. If Juve don't get promoted next year, a lot of those players contracts will have expired by the time the team is back in Serie A.

yes, and the problem with that is that if big teams agree with Juve on loaning players like buff and canna,,they will for sure try to sign a deal to get them at the end of the campaign if Juve dont get promoted....and they will try to get them much cheaper.

Taking in consideration that to get back to serie A will not be easy...we can be playing a russian roulette with those loans.

Taking loan measures a very risky i think coz we arent really guaranteed 2 be back straight after 1 year if this 30 point deduction still stays. I think selling them right now and keeping those experienced ones will be the best.I hope Thuram,Nedved stays as they dunt have anything else to offer to their NT unlike Cannavaro whom will have 2 play in the best league's to keep is Italy captaincy.
Del Piero is a club symbol and he will definitely not leave. Anyway if anyone leaves i dunt blame them, as profesionals they would wanna think of winning major prizes like champions league and too bad we cant offer them this time.

Yes, and maybe they already thinking about moving out or stay. They won the WC and now they have to think about it. What an irony. I can't blame them if they move to another club, they're the best and need the best place to stay too.

No Serie B For Thuram

Aware that Barcelona are keen on him, the French defender suggested that he would like to play for the Catalans.

Lilian Thuram spoke for the first time since the Serie A verdicts came out, where he stated that he has no intention of playing in Serie B with Juventus.

"There are almost no possibilities that I will play with Juventus in Serie B.

"For the time being I have not spoken yet much with the club. I just hope to find a team in time to remain in the topflight."

Many have linked the French defender to a move to Barca.

"We'll see, in any case Barcelona would be a nice destination for me."

the players who have at one point at another stated they will stay are changing their minds..

Del Piero is really the only player we can firmly say will stay...

Thuram
Before:
he is a Juventino, and feels it within him, and says he will stay regarldess if Juve are relegated to Serie B
Now:
Little chance of playing for Juve in serie B, looking to jump ships before its too late

Buffon:
Before:
Said openly that he can play in Serie B
Now:
He doesn't want to play in serie B and is looking towards other teams in Italy, namely Milan

Cannavaro
Before:
Said he wouldn't mind battling for Juventus
Now:
On the verge of a move

Fickle bastards.

Who could blame them really though ?
I can understand Canna's decision as he never won a scudetto,so by all means we should give him the respect he deserves.Cant say much for the rest.

Im not angered by their decision to leave, but I'd rather them not having pledged to Juve earlier....

They should've said from the begining they'll wait for the outcome, or just don't comment.

It hurts to see some body go back on their word.

I believe all deserve a place in top flight football...with top flight money....I'd like Zambrotta to play for Barca and perhaps Buffon too..

I don't know why no deals are confirmed yet, perhaps some are waiting for the appeal....
or Juventus is trying hard to get loan deals...

i don't know, but I'll be checkin in quite often...

Juventus new boy Marco Marchionni has pledged to stay at the Stadio Delle Alpi despite their relegation.

The Turin giants were relegated to Serie B and handed a 30-point deduction for next season following the outcome of the match-fixing scandal.

Juve's impending relegation is set to see a number of top stars leave the club, but Marchionni has no plans to jump ship.

Marchionni arrived at Juve in June on a free transfer from Parma after signing a pre-contract in January.

The 25-year-old is ready to stay at Juve and try and help them win promotion back to Serie A.

"I've signed the contract in January and I don't disown the choice I made," vowed Marchionni.

"In one year, we will be back in Serie A.

"It's a really difficult mission, we need about 100 points, but it would be like doing the big slam in Serie A.

"We will try to do this."

Meanwhile, Juventus are being linked with a move for Livorno striker Cristiano Lucarelli.

Juve are likely to be in the market for a new forward, with both David Trezeguet and Zlatan Ibrahimovic expected to move on.

Lucarelli's future at Livorno has been the subject of intense speculation for some time and he has already snubbed an offer from ambitious Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

Juve are hoping they can lure Lucurelli to Turin so that he can spearhead their assault on promotion back to Serie A.

Livorno are keen to keep hold of their star striker, as they are set to play in Europe next season in the wake of the punishments dished out to Fiorentina, Milan, Lazio and Juventus in the match-fixing scandal.

Juve aim to keep Trez Tuesday 18 July, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus are hoping to keep David Trezeguet at the club next season despite reported interest from Lyon.

Almost all of Juve’s high profile foreign players are set to leave Turin following their demotion, but whispers in Italy claim the club are keen to keep Trezegol.

The Frenchman’s goals are seen as key to their Serie B promotion plans even if much seems to depend on whether they will get their 30-point deduction reduced.

Juventus are supposedly ready to respect his £3m a season contract, which expires in 2008, if he agrees to remain.

However, Trezeguet – the club’s seventh highest scorer of all time thanks to his 125 goals – has numerous admirers abroad.

The latest club to be linked with the striker, who missed his shoot-out spot-kick in the World Cup Final recently, are French champions Lyon.

The Ligue 1 outfit are ready to offer around £7m for the forward, even if Lyon are also said to be tracking teammate Mauro Camoranesi and Fiorentina striker Luca Toni.

The latter is seemingly available after the Viola were also stripped of their Serie A status last week.
