So now we have a serious problem. It seems that Nedved said in a Interview to Tuttosport that he is not sure if he will continue to play football but he is serious thinking about a retirement and that Juve should restart from Buffon.
-->we should start as soon as possible to wacht around for a Nedved Sub.:faq1:

He should play for this whole season and then nobody can blame him for retiring... but if he abandones us now, I will be very disappointed...

I think he'll be persuaeded to stay on for at least the remainder of the season. Nedved will probably get football hungry again and stay for another season. He's just a bit disilusioned right now.

Probably Montolivo isnt good enought to start directly and take the place of neddy. if neddy will stay for another serie a season then we can try to replace him with a younger prospect. perhaps still with bentivoglio or nocerino. but if neddy will retire at the end of this season then we should buy a player that can lead this team. Like Van der Vaart.

Van der Vaart and Palladino would be perfect for left:agree:

Juve lose Nedved Appeal - Thursday 14 December, 2006

Juventus have failed in their appeal against the five-match ban handed to star midfielder Pavel Nedved.

The Czech was given the severe punishment after he was sent-off in injury time during the December 1 match with Genoa for stamping on opponent Francesco Bega.

He then reacted violently to referee Stefano Farina, offended him and voluntarily stamped on his foot, as confirmed by the report submitted to the League’s disciplinary commission.

“The foul on his opponent was judged as violent and voluntary by the referee. As to the following reaction, the report does not leave any margins for interpretation,” read an official statement.

“The player moved towards the referee with a threatening manner, complaining and voluntarily stepping on his left foot,” continued the note.

Juventus had decided to lodge an appeal against the verdict, considered unfair, and were hoping in a reduction of the punishment.

And the appeal failed...
Aarrrggggghhhhh!
That is ridiculous. Of course it didn't help that Gigli bad mouthed Pavel in the press. By the sound of it, they had already made up their minds prior to the appeal, and, of course, when they saw in the paper what Gigli had said, it was obvious that Gigli wasn't going to defend Neddy properly.

what?!!!! failed ?!!!! WTF?!!!
Juve's management should appeal somewhere else, even to civil courts
I hate this situation, but we are getting humilated on and off the pitch with those bastards of italian federation
:agree: There should be some other method of appeal until Italian Figc/la Lega get cleaned up properly. And it's about time they stopped using Juventus as a scapegoat for all italian football's sins.

Nedved suspension: appeal to the CAF

The disciplinary board has confirmed the 5 game suspension handed out by the sporting judiciary to Pavel Nedved following the Genoa-Juventus championship clash. The club takes exception to the decision and will appeal to the CAF. The comments of Juventus Director of Sport, Alessesio Secco, are as follows: “We are very annoyed as we were hoping for a reduction of the ban, which we continue to regard as excessive. For this reason we have further decided to appeal to the Federal Appeals Court”.
