Yes, you are right.... but keep in mind that it is 2022 and medicine is way more advanced than before. It remains to be seen, but calling Chiesa done is a bit too much.

for sure, I hope i am wrong. i hope you guys can rub it in my face and say i was wrong. but history has proven me right multiple times and i hope this one time it doesnt happen again.

What comes to my mind is Spinazzola.... He got back after a similar injury and got back very strong and was even leading Italy in the Euros and was their best player untill that damn injury which was a completely different injury than the previous one.

Neymar is still rolling on the floor though, that must count for something.
I feel like their gen was in general a bit overwhelming when it comes to superstars. The best strikers up until recently were oldies Ronaldo, Messi, Lewa and right now it looks that Mbappe, Haaland and Vlahovic will overtake them and all the current 28-30 yo's - Neymar, Salah, Kane, Dybs (tbh doesn't feel right to include him among the best, he really isn't) - will be left in the dust.
