Like I said, I actually think Raiola would be the only reason he'd stay because we're in such terms with him. We did him many favours too. Had it been some other agent, yeah, I would say so too. He made 30% of the transfer fee in the end. That doesn't sound like a favour to me. I'm not sure how naive you can be to think someone as highly sought after such as De Ligt would be willing to play in the 2nd division even if Raiola had any intentions of doing a favour for us.
Besides his wages become instantly unsustainable for us should something like that happen. Both the management and De Ligt would be desperate to part ways before Raiola could even do any special favours for us.

I would only expect chiellini bonucci to stay...the rest would request transfers and they would be sold for peanuts just like our stars were back in 2006.

That dynamic is tricky, the issue seems mutual, not just him, the club hasnt been keen to renew him it seems, and tried to sell him not long ago and he was the one who refused.
