I think it could be Ronaldo and Berna on the wings (not both him and Costa), Mandzukic forward and Dybala trequartista

Playing with 3 midfielders adds nothing when their caliber is not up to standard, I'd rather have two that does the job and have most of our deciding forwards factor come into play

Not a fan of Cancelo on the RW. He seems to play far better from RB when the game is in front of him.

Maybe current incarnation of Ronaldo can’t but he had some of his best seasons in a Madrid shirt on the left of a 4-2-3-1 formation. It really depends on the system. But generally I agree, it probably wouldn’t work.
