He's right. Asking Dybala to drop back to help out the midfield is a bit of a joke. The guy can be the best striker in the game and he's not being used as one. I don't remember Del Piero, Totti or Baggio being asked to make the same sacrifices that Dybala makes. But then again, I don't remember them having to play in a system like this 4-2-3-1.
There is a bit of irony in the idea that forwards are required to fill gaps in the midfield. Why doesn't Allegri use a midfielder for that job?
Sacchi believes the best defense is a good a attack. Keeping the ball is paramount. Allegri almost espouses the opposite philosophy at the moment. He's always on about how the team needs to conserve energy by not attacking all the time. It's a nonsense idea. It's common knowledge that defending is more tiring than holding the ball.
That really sums up what the negativity surrounding Juve is all about. We can never be the very best until we adopt a similar philosophy to last years Real Madrid - to play with ambition and positivity. Allegri should start by allowing his attackers to attack.

Dybala does nothing defensively unless we are absolutely caught and he has to track back. He struggles, not because he's tired, but because he's not good enough to control the ball in midfield. Everyone knows by now that he has to play closer to the box. This includes Allegri. The problem is we also have Higuain so you have to find a way to play both these #9s together in a 2 striker formation.
There's 2 basic formations that don't absolutely rape your defence in order to accommodate two strikers: 4-4-2 and 3-5-2. The only thing Max can do in these formations is make Higuain drop into build up and let Dybala press the line. Otherwise, there's not much you can do.
