albanese on his telegram channel. nothing specific, he just repeats what's been said today, and he doesn't believe that dybala decided to leave. he would have already signed his contract if antun was registered in italy as a sports attorney, he loves the jersey, etc.

Situazione rinnovo #Dybala ⬇️
⬇️

#Dybala ⬇️ renewal situation
⬇️
‼ It is not true that she has decided to leave #Juve ✅
❗ Indeed, seeing only ⚪⚫ in his future, he never gave any indication to his agent to listen or explore other possibilities, although he could already promise other clubs for next summer on a free transfer ✅
⁉️ The #Juventus renewal proposal was already verbally accepted last October, he did not get started right away because his agent first had to define his position as sports attorney in Italy to sign the contract ✅
❓ The last words of #Arrivabene targeted the central player in the new project to remind all those fundamental principles to honor the #VecchiaSignora shirt and its DNA: determination and character ✅
⁉️ The new meeting between #Antun and the Juventus management is scheduled for February, in the meantime Paulo will have to take back the centrality that #Allegri offered him last summer, also elevating him to vice © ️ of the team ✅
❗ The club believes in the Argentine, the investiture made at the dawn of this new cycle was clear and unequivocal ✅
‼ Everything, however, must be the result of objective evaluations: roles - as well as merits - are earned on the field, through acclaimed meritocracy. Here and now: because without participating in the next #ChampionsLeague (not so certain to date) the international champions would not be economically sustainable, and they wouldn't even be needed ✅
Now you can reread this post from bottom to top, look at the photo and remember that the story of that shirt is the secret that entire generations have loved #juventusfc for; that many have wanted to wear it but few have succeeded; that the responsibilities of those who hold that number on their back are always double and this must be a reason for pride, and nothing else; that history is the set of extraordinary events, nothing so obvious; and that even before men - whoever they are - there are Juve and its history: for his good. Whoever loves remains, does not flee.

Juventus in transition: eight things the Italian superclub should do to get back to the top

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/blo...tus-paulo-dybala-set-to-leavelisten-to-offers

5. Call Dybala's bluff
The Argentine striker has offered glimpses of what he can be: witness Sunday's goal against Roma. That's great, but focus instead on what he is and what he makes. He earned €13.5m last season and reportedly wants a bump to €15m (plus bonuses) through 2026. This is a guy who is 28 and, since 2018, has scored 41 goals in 133 games over three-and-a-half seasons. During that time, he has started less than 50% of Juve's games.
And now, according to reports in Argentina, after Juve postponed contract talks until next month, his agents are ready to talk to other clubs. Fine. Let them. See how many takers there are out there for a guy that age who is injured or unavailable as often as he is. (Oh, and who doesn't really have an obvious role on the pitch unless you build the team around him.) There are no more than 10 clubs in Europe who can even afford to pay that much and virtually all of them have better options already in Dybala's role.
You want to offer a new deal based not on what a player has achieved, but rather what you think he will achieve in the future. Paying Dybala what he's asking for right now means paying him for what he was supposed to achieve in the past, which is even worse.
There's a price at which it makes sense to extend him. If he's willing to commit at that number, great. If not, let him look for new clubs around Europe and save yourself a ton of money.

Is that true? FFS.

so we lose him on free.

morata will not get renewed.

hopefully kean not renewed.

chiesa is forever injured and maybe ruined.

so now we need an entire new strike force and a winger. and that doesn't inlcude the problems we have in midfield and defense. yeah totally great idea to let him walk on a free right guys? let's see how well we can sign 8 players as starters in this team

Letting Dybala go for nothing is obviously not ideal, but I’d rather let him go and get nothing in return than have another player on the roster that can’t stay fit and because of his wages would be impossible to dump.

At the same time he’s the most talented player we have in the attacking department so I get paying him too.

I guess I won’t lose sleep either way. That goes for everyone else on the roster too. I don’t care about any of these jabronis except Loca and Chiesa.
That's what I think about it. It's tough to decide, considering the dire straits of the team. If there was confidence in management to find an interesting replacement, it would be much easier. But the truth is he will rapidly decline, if he hasn't started already. Pretty sure he's already peaked under Sarri. A 2 or, max, 3 year contract could be acceptable. More than that, no way. Maybe the disagreement between parties is there. If he's adamant asking for 4 or 5 years, yes, it's better to let him go.

Dybala is like Trump: both hire the best people.

This is really hard to believe
Is there some kind of course to become sports agent?

Paulo Dybala’s renewal revolves around the figure of Jorge Antun, the man who looks after the interests of the Juventus number ten and who left Turin last October with a handshake to ratify the agreement with Juve on the conditions of the extension. Why wasn’t it put down in black and white? Also because the 60-year-old from Cordoba is just a family friend, he has nothing to do with the world of football prosecutors and, in order to be able to sign an agreement approved in the autumn by both sides, he is now awaiting the domiciliation in Italy required for registration in the register. It’s just one of the necessary adjustments for a new character to this system, whose only client is Paulo Dybala.

Losing him is not my concern, it is replacing him. We have lost much bigger and better names than dybala but were not financially crippled. It is a double edged sword, we make zero dollars on him leaving, but the alternative high wage is still a risk.

Anyone thinking we'd replace him with a high quality player need to adjust their expectations.

True. It feels like there has been very little talent to choose from lately. I mean football in general has decreased in producing quality. If you ask me to name a realistic target to replace Dybala I don't even who to mention. But maybe it's just me.
