That haters talk is just silly if the forum is like 50-50 when it comes to sell or not.

Like it's 50% fanbois vs. 50% haters...

You don't need to hate him to list reasons why you don't want him to renew, and there are plenty.
The mere fact that the fans are divided about him is reason enough to sell. No one ever argues about good, reliable players, wanting them to stay is a no-brainer.

No Liverpool fan is thinking whether they should keep Salah ffs.

I’ve been wanting him out of here for many seasons now but he’s one of the few players in this shitty squad who can create and score.

I don’t trust this management to get a better replacement if he goes so injury prone or not Tobey should stay imo.

Still unreliable which is the whole point.

No one's hating. You just can't rely on him anymore. I have no idea why we made him captain in the first place.
People not questioning or at least understanding the cons are starting to sound like a cult. Theres no doubt he's a good player when fit and scores great goals. But he has been unreliable, be it with inconsistency or injuries.

We're at a crossroad, and this team has issues. Difficult decisions ahead for sure.

Lmao Liverpool fans where just flirting with the idea of selling Salah a year ago for Mbappe...

Left thigh injury can mean alot of things.

when you get as much as a simple knock on the ligament of the knee, a relatively simple injury, which alone can render a player useless, keep him unbalanced and unable to move proper and keep him out for couple months but is hardly a reason to sell a player. Type of injury meaning exact details is important anybody got Drs report?

The point is we don't know wtf this injury actually is if it will stay with him or what..muscle tissue can re-tear easily if not fully recovered and I wouldnt bet against J medical fuck-uppery in this either, rushing his recovery.
I'm not against selling if it will do us good but fact is we don't know shit really.

Except there is no selling at this point. It would be giving away.

Dybala’s agent is currently in Turin for the signature of Paulo’s new contract. There is an agreement on everything 10 million euros salary, the negotiation is over & the new injury does not change the plans of Juventus. (GdS)

The closer we are to the renewal, the less convinced I'm that it's a good idea. Over 5 years we will spend 100m with taxes, this could land us Vlahovic instead I guess.
There are other ways we can add Vlahovic. What is important is to get rid of the trash, not a guy that is in the top 10 all time scorers list for our club.

different players. vlahovic is a pure 9 and our potential morata replacement.

i'm still not sure we have to offer dybala a 5-year contract. i like him as a player and with a low book value he won't be too expensive either, but his injuries post covid are a genuine concern, regardless of vlahovic.

and we would replace Dybala with Salah in a heart beat. Which means Dybala is at least two levels below both those players.

If Dybala ends up staying I will be supporting him of course, but I will have close to zero expectations that we will not regret this contract.
