This. Of course, no direct comparisons, since Dybala's been here for much longer period of time and is much older now, but I still feel Henry kind of situation vibes here. A very talented player was misused on the pitch and then the management rushed to the conclusions and sold him. You don't treat such talents like that, they are too rare and precious. Even if he doesn't fully fit the new manager's plans - who knows if this manager will be the manager here in half a year.

Based on his first 3 seasons, I would argue he is good enough.
Hell, he was pretty much a perfect fit for the team during that time.
He’s definitely good enough imo, but he never played as a CF here. He played as a second striker/support striker to Mandzukic and then Higuain. And he was fantastic in that role.

Which is why I wouldn’t be at all opposed to having a CAM like Eriksen (or move Bernadeschi central because he sure isn’t a winger) play behind a Ronaldo-Dybala pairing up front. Takes the creative, dropping deep burden off Dybala and allows him to be a poacher and final ball specialist in the box.

If you seriously can't compete with 34yr Ronaldo, then you seriously need to shove that "potential" down to toilet and accept the fact that your potential isn't for being the best player in the world, it's for being better than average and that's what Dybala is.
Who in the modern football could compete with Ronaldo if this player were at Juventus instead of Dybala?

first Spinazzola gone for 29m but with Pellegrini 18years old kid on loan to Cagliari from Roma valued 21m.
So sold Spinazzola for 7m.

Then sold Cancelo for Danilo +28m valuing Danilo which has been nothing for the past 4 years 32m at 28years old when he has been paid 30m years ago and very unlikely to have and increase of value.

Then Kean 19years old some goals (7) as sub for Juventus. Great prospect and future sold for 30m witthout bonus.
When Osmanè Dembelè 1year at Dortmund 49caps 10goals for 150m

We suck at selling and accepting some offers we look disperate to do so....
In case of spinazzola we balanced the books because it seems the we could or have ended the fiscal year in a loss.
In case of danilo and cancelo both deals are inflated. There is no way our rb that was benched by mds has a value of 60 mil. .Also did you see an improvement from him since last year when we paid 40? I didn't.

In case of kean please tell me a under 21 player who isn't a regular starter for his club (big or otherwise) that went for 30 mil.

interesting. wtf is going on with him then.

we tried to sell him, failed and now its "hey Paulo were really sorry we tried to force you out to England please take the captains band in a friendly as an apology"
Or its simply about seniority? Captain armband is allways about seniority only in Juve.

Dybala had one poor season and he's paying the price with some of you guys. Don't give none of that Dybala went missing in Cardiff, he was marked out and the rest of the team did nothing to compensate other than make schoolboy errors. Play players to their strengths, don't be like Argentina and dump attackers all over the place praying for some magic.
