He’s definitely good enough imo, but he never played as a CF here. He played as a second striker/support striker to Mandzukic and then Higuain. And he was fantastic in that role.

Which is why I wouldn’t be at all opposed to having a CAM like Eriksen (or move Bernadeschi central because he sure isn’t a winger) play behind a Ronaldo-Dybala pairing up front. Takes the creative, dropping deep burden off Dybala and allows him to be a poacher and final ball specialist in the box.

Don't give none of that Dybala went missing in Cardiff, he was marked out and the rest of the team did nothing to compensate other than make schoolboy errors.
