Said over and over this guy missed 72 matches in the past three years due to injury. Which is double what Ramsey missed in the three years prior to his move here. He’s here now, so I’m going to hope for the best, not much point in bitching about him anymore, I hope he gets back to 2014-2016 level Pogba, but it’s going to be a bit of disaster for us if he’s missing 24 matches a season here.

So frustrating, this was always the risk with Pogba, his injuries aren’t going to stop but the risk now of surgery is a bad sign.

So soon into his preseason - this isn’t a coincidence. Our training and fitness routines need a radical overhaul. Even Nagelsmann spoke about it, we’ve been saying for years yet we mix injury prone players with toxic physical training. Very few of our injuries are picked up in game - alarm bells…

Pogba has essentially replaced Dybala in everything and he’s even giving us the same fitness levels.

Starting to wonder if we’ve actually improved the squad at all this window

He’s expected to be out for 2 months :sergio:

Thats a real bummer.
We need another midfielder to cover for him when he is injured. Maybe Fagioli will get more chances now.

As for Pogba - I am still happy we signed him. Im sure he can play many games even if its not the nicest start.

My wife wanted to surprise me with tickets to the Juventus-Atletico game in Israel but I wanted to skip it since its a friendly and I have 0 excitement from friendlies (especially after we know for years we suck at friendlies). Now after I know Pogba is out, Im definitely not going to see it live (I`ll probably watch it on TV though)

Fagioli wanted playing time guarantees, well there you go :D
Who knows it might be Fagioli`s chance to shine. Injuries are bad of course but we can also look at the bright side which means more playing time for young talents.
