I only mentioned the 3 guys on the left for them like you did for us.
That's because we got no designated DM to balance this team if we had one it doesn't matter what side he played..which is what casemiro is. You got no cover for the defence in that 433, you comparing that BS lineup with madrid system shows what you know..

That is why I said we need both Pogba type and Locatelli type. Locatelli won't be as good as Casemiro defensively, but he is still very good and can do stuff offensively that he can't.

Huh? Locatelli to both be mid and playmaker in this??

Woj
Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-Sandro
McKennie-Locatelli-Pogba
Chiesa-Morata-Ronaldo

:D nice theory.. With pogba darting forward (it's why we get him, otherwise why get him.. and he will get caught as he has many times also while here) those CBs would be raped. Need cover this lineup is good for mid table serie A defending..any real team would kill us..Madrid aren't stupid to have a Casemiro AKA balance.

The fullbacks push forward and you get caught high, who is closing the hole locatelli? No balance.

Pogba has been underperforming for quite some time. Eventhough I think he'd do good here I think it's a huge risk signing him considering his wages. However, I do think we'll bid for him in the summer.

There is like 10 other teams with more offensive lineups than that. We'd be perfectly fine.

Pogba without the hype is a 30m player right now at best..if he wants to come for that I'm good with it and also no hair fashion and coloring BS in his contract this is Juve ain't no circus manchester club.

It's not just about the transfer fee. It's his insanely high wages that he, at least currently, does not justify.

I'm 100% certain some people have not seen a single game of Pogba in the United shirt. This current version of Pogba would instantly be our best midfielder by a mile. It's not happening though because we are broke and can't realistically afford the transfer fee or the wages.
Nah. He wouldn’t. He’s been awful in pretty much every match I’ve watched of theirs.

Agree to disagree I guess.

What about ankle issues and other injuries? Locatelli and pogba would definitely upgrade our midfield

I know we won't agree on this but who do you think is better?

We're not signing Pogba but obviously injuries are always a worry when a player has struggled with them for ≈2 years.

I don’t think anyone here is better than him. I think he’s been at about the same level as our shitty CMs the past two years.

Who else here thinks this is a balanced team, like ilcapitano? not against SPAL but a real team say Bayern?

Woj
Danilo-Bonucci-De Ligt-Sandro
McKennie-Locatelli-Pogba
Chiesa-Morata-Ronaldo

Because this set up will suck donkey balls, that's a formation with holes in it. With this you need a dedicated casemiro type in the lineup to balance it not pogba in a 433.

let's imagine a player with immense talent, but questionable attitude, 50+ missed games due to different injuries for the last 2 seasons, insane wages and high transfer fee. and let's imagine we'd pay him 12m net.

pogba would be our best midfielder, but this is a bar set pretty low. point is that we could spend that money towards actually useful and motivated players. pogba is one of the best midfield talents i've ever seen. just considering his sheer talent, top pogba is a zidane, nedved tier player. but top pogba was nowhere to be seen for years, and he would still cost just as much as a top player. i'd get him for free, relatively low salary and performance related high bonuses, but it's not happening. we need our own barella, someone who's young and hungry enough, and doesn't cost a fortune. i'd rather have guys like lorenzo pellegrini, aouar, locatelli, gosens, ndidi, de paul, goncalves, or even less-hyped players like romain faivre, maxi arnold, mikel merino than crippled, expensive pogba with questionable work ethics and motivation. i'd expect a much better price/performance ratio.

I don't think we would play like that at all, in your scenario:

Cuads De Ligt Bonucci LB
Danilo Locatelli Pogba
Chiesa Morata Ronaldo

LB could be Gosens, I think AS will leave. And maybe change positions of Danilo and Locatelli, don't know.

For CL big matches, I would personally bench Morata, play Ronaldo up front and use another winger on the left. But I don't know if Pirlo would
