I think Pogba genuinely thought 2015 was a one off, an thought we were inferior after the Bayern game in 2016. Sad really, he should have stayed here and he could have developed into something phenomenal. He began to believe the hype both in himself and the "project" Mourinho was bringing to Man Utd and decided to jump ship. Still wouldn't want him back, he somehow feels like damaged goods.

-higher salary (had 4.5M here and we would have given him 7.5M, at United he has around 9M or more)
-the club he likes ("home", "family", "return from a holiday")
-the club is actually top of the world in terms of marketing and making money (wants to build his own brand)
