Or perhaps what really happened was that we made the wrong decision in selling Vidal last year, regardless of his off-field issues. We likely could have kept him for the remainder of his prime with the right contract extension....
I'm of course talking post Vidal.
I talked with my United roomie about Pogba's social media behaviour (bear in mind that I'm talking from a club fan point of view). He too lost all respect for him. No matter which club he would've rejected, he showed disrespect.

I know.

I actually thought the club, once we had sold Vidal and given Pogba the 10, would at least make him stay for 2 years... It seems strange to sell him this summer... I'm still a little baffle by selling Vidal and then Pogba just a year later.

Oh well. They know what they are doing. So I'll keep the faith. See how the season plays out.

Pogba on MUTV right now "It was meant for me to come back here"

He's referring to us as "a holiday"
He really called Juventus a holiday?

With Marchisio out it's still too many changes to the midfield.

Nice Instagram posts from Paul. I'm sad but now we can finally move on.

Paul is a great professional but sadly a deal like this was never going to be. We have other professionals too and they must fill the void and create a new identity.

If we could get over Del Piero and Nedved's departures, we can surely get over Pogba's.
This whole thing was handled so poorly by Paul and his management. He has lost a bit of face with Juve fans. People saying Marotta sold him too easily but at the end of the day this is the highest transfer fee of all time. Paul sounded like he wanted out, we obviously want a highly motivated group. We couldn't have really signed better "replacements" either.
Indeed.
I never got the impression he would stay here forever.
I wasn't expecting him to go back to United, but so be it.

Some guys seem to forget we just received a record transfer sum for a CM, not an AM, not a striker, not some flashy winger with nice moves but a fucking CM that we signed for free.
And too make it all even better, we sold him to the team we got him from for free and that is not even a competitor in the CL.

Also, his European Championship 2016 showed he isn't even the WC player the transfer sum makes him look.

I say good business, invest it wise in a good CM and move on.

You're far too gracious with him than I could ever imagine myself to be.

Only on the field. Everything else is annoying about him. His personality fits Vidal's look.
People call all these other players whiny and unprofessional on the field...

They seem to forgive Pogba for the number of times he cussed out teammates for not passing to him this season. He was consistently pouting on the pitch and giving up late in games over the first 2-3 months of this last season. I recall several occasions where he freaked out at Morata in that period for not passing him the ball.

Even in Vidal's worst periods of form, he never gave up on the pitch or checked out of games like Paul does.

I respect most things. But please don't try making us look like a bunch of cocks. Manchester suits you Paul. Enjoy the weather.

The good thing is we are finally getting rid of his stupid haircut. Couldnt stand it, he looked like he would be a Milan player.
For the rest of his services, Pjanic and one more CM is enough to replace his presence in our midfield.
