Players who left Juve and still had a great career: Henry, Van der Sar, Inzaghi, Ibrahimovic, Zidane.
Not too many names.
it depends what you call great carrier, best players from BD squad in 1997 came there from Juve. Players you've mentioned all except VdS fell in category "all-times best" at something.

What? Most of us non-teenage posters have been bashing Pogba's hair, style, and attitude for the entire time he's been at Juventus.

And most of us are not dramatically changing our opinions of Pogba. I said yesterday I think he's already a top 5 CM in football, and on a given day can play like the best, but he lacks consistency. I said that during the season too. I still say it. I think he played like the best CM in football over the last 2-3 months of the season after we went out of CL. But he also had a horrific beginning to the season and a mediocre euros. He's not consistent enough to be called the best CM in the world yet. How is that underrating him exactly, Dusan?

Please show me all the posts where people are saying Pogba is mediocre or shit? Show me one? Some people are calling him overrated (which I haven't even done) because there are members claiming he's the best CM in the world already. But show me one single member who is seriously calling Pogba shit or not one of the top 5-10 CMs in football? Because I think you guys are dramatically exaggerating this.

Same deal with Higuain. World class striker with a big game choking problem. No one has denied it. I'm not denying it. But he was still the best player in Serie A last season. Regardless of how butthurt some people are getting about this being said. As though saying the guy who broke the all-time goal record in Serie a was he best player last season is somehow underrating Pogba? Please.

Y'all are exaggerating this to a huge degree. People are saying how this transfer is happening and how Pogba is behaving is disrespectful and that we'll be relieved when it's over and he's gone. But pretty much no one is saying he sucks.
You know people did wank over his hair style, clothes and attitude. Btw, when I say majority/plenty it doesn't really mean Post Ironic. I've been reading this for a couple of years and I've seen it many times. So I guess you are partly right, many did bash it too, not all were hailing it.

I never said people called him mediocre or shit. But people did/do underrate him and will even more when he leaves the club. I surely won't dig for posts cause we have over 80 pages daily, but I sure did see plenty of those too. Some even said he doesn't impact our game, wtf. It might be minority but it's still very retarded. I even see it on facebook and fan pages. And you'll see it more if we in fact do sell him.

Yeah, exactly.

I think it's pretty much an attitude where one never wants to look like a loser so he creates a bubble of lies to deny the reality.

I said it dozens of times already. I love Pogba, he's an amazing player. He was/is bound to leave this place. Judging his stats and considering his age it's nothing but amazing how a kid managed to do that (plus in Italy where defensive game is rated highly). He reached CL finals, he even played finals for France. He has more talent in his toe than half of our squad. Yes, he makes mistakes, it's quite natural. But he's capable of winning the match on his own with one pass or a goal. He's just brilliant with occasional brain farts and stupid mistakes which might be fixed in the future. IMO his price is crazy high and too good to refuse. Hell, I even have his jersey and I love Juve, but I'd sell him at this point honestly. I also believe that with the right moves this squad can look even stronger. It can be done. But yea, we might even fail it too.

Bottom line: we're losing a gem. I don't care if he's joining Manure, Real or even Milan. I don't know why people now deny the fact that Pogba has been fucking amazing here. Yes, it's not the end of the world, I won't even cry much if he leaves eventhough I'll be sad. But why heck start talking BS how he's not good enough or invent some crap... When he has a pokemon hair people say he's a boss, when he has shit on his hair people say he's funny and has huge balls. But when it happens outside of the club those same people will laugh. Partly Pogba was always an arrogant prick and overconfident which is reflected through his clothes/hair and generally pics. But now all of a sudden people find it sad and not Juve worthy while he was like that ever since he came here. Some players are in the game to win and earn money and that's majority of players. You gotta accept the fact that clubs will also look to cash on it. Same how for people who were yelling their loungs out how Juve are not a selling club and how chances of him leaving are equal of Earth splitting into 4 ways by Ramos' ball from that penalty kick. Now many of those are finding retarded excuses and inventing things. Why not admit to be wrong and accept the freaking reality, I just don't get it.

We used to win. We won with Pogba. We'll also win without him. There's nothing to cry about at this point. But there's no need to spread BS just for the sake of it.
What i dislike is the time factor.

During the first half of this and previous season, Pogba was just bad, people were trashing him. You say "but he'll be amazing once he's back in form" and they just continue. When he starts to trash everyone changes 180° and everyone is happy.
After the season when you mention the part he sucked, you get attacked cause you are trying to diminish the player.
I liked Pogba when he arrived. I liked some of his hair, and some didnt. I liked that insane potential (still has it), and the occasional magic. But he was not an established player yet

Yeah, extremely good for his age. I cant recall cm thats not a winger or cam that was so imposing at times, but he's still inconsistant and didnt carry. Which is fine, he's 23.

So i'm saying when we take Pjanic the midfield only uses physical presence, and the loss of decisiveness is largely overcompensated by the addition of Higuain, and alves and watch it : Pjaca.

He's a stupid fool to leave, he should have waited 2 years till he had developped most he could (but still improve) and got consistant and experienced to start anyware. This is to soon for paul

But money dab ho's.

IMO Pogba offers a whole new dimension cause he's a jack of all trades. He carried this team many, many times. There were plenty of times when we looked like shit and he scored out of nothing, or made some wild assist. I also think people underrated Pjanic and I believe fans will love him. If... If Pogba leaves now, I just want to see who the replacement is. Pjanic - Marchisio offers tons of quality and potential but I wanna see who the third choice is. Higuain - Dybala upfront is brilliant but our third guy in midfield will be a decisive factor. I don't know what to make out of Pjaca just yet :boh:

Fair enough. Your original post and posts from others on this make it sound like the majority of Tuz are making him out to be some scrub now. That's all I was taking issue with. Thanks for clarifying.

I know you don't mean me. I was more so trying to give an example of how one can judge him in a more critical light. As a fan of a team you often are willing to gloss over/overlook/ignore flaws or poor performances, because this is your team and some of your favourite players. I do it. Certainly. But I don't see people really doing it to some ridiculous degree here on Tuz. Saying he's a top 5 CM in the world right now, at 23, when perhaps after some great performance 2 months ago we exaggerated in saying he was the best CM in the world, isn't really a ridiculous leap, especially because saying best CM then was more so a case of saying he was playing like the best CM to close out the season.

I think I'm trying to say that judging a player who leaves more harshly is pretty natural. I don't really see the point in getting upset about it.

That's the most ridiculous thing of this forum for me. Rational peeps turning into bitter retarded exes on a dime. Be disappointed and dislike how it went down yeah, but don't BS and say he isn't all that to lose when he has been big game changer for us.

It's extremely annoying revisionism considering majority weren't saying any of this til now, except past discussions about his inconsistency, no one doubted his top top quality importance.

It's downright sad to witness this 180 on him as a player, dislike the guy for leaving is one thing, but his quality as a player doesn't change because of that...

When has he been a big game changer? The only one in his four years I recall was against Milan away this year and Olympiacos home couple years back.
