Because it's creating hype around this whole situation. Everyone is watching and Juve is making sure that if they sell they're not leaving a single euro at the table. And again, if Juve wasn't ok with this it wouldn't be happening, it would've already been done.

And if he stays then guess who is going to collect all this money from marketing and hype around Pogba? Juventus and Pogba. You think last season was a jackpot for Juve-Pogba marketing. Watch what happens if he stays and people around the world who were following this tag in to see this huge superstar and his club and buy his jerseys.
It is creating hype but it we will be at the receiving end of the negative hype because we're the selling club here and we're selling that most talked about player right now. It'll only be viewed as a whole positive if he stays but i'm not betting on it.

It would be foolish to label it 'marketing' on a long drawn out transfer saga. Juve arent benefiting much from a marketing perspective except that they'll make a 100m+ profit.

Actually, all footie fans I know are jerking over Juve's squad this season. I, like most of them, don't see us getting weakened at all if (hopefully when) we were to lose Pogba. Marotta will bring us the goods like always.

I'm not up to date on social medias, but for sure most casual fans I know talk about this supposed deal every time footie is brought up. This is the kind of ppl who would barely know more then handful Juve players by name.

But this deal is hardly flattering for Juves reputation, so far from positive marketing, all it means is just more in the public eye right now.

That i agree with, just pointed out from business perspective. This saga're drag too long for my taste.

You wear it as badge of honour, but I honestly never got why you been against him for so long. He has been behaving on and off the pitch and doing extremely well for us since the day he signed, has extremely positive effect on the team and has been very well liked by his teammates. Superficial stuff like his style or how he likes to have fun / celebrate a goal is bit of weird pet peeve in my book.

If it was disruptive trait or character issue like ill discipline or acting like an asshole would be one thing. But generally done little to nothing to dislike in 4 years, besides being a typical showy millennial type of young individual.

Someone's earning a lot of money from this.
And it looks like Adidas, Pogba, Raiola, Juventus and United are part of the "someone". They are all involved.
I like to know how they are exactly earning alot of money off this.

L'equippe also said he had signed for united, and a medical was happening within x houres

His picture said he was taking a medical at a themepark(kinda like that dig to all media), and had some hashtags against l'equippe specifically

Bit odd. If i didnt knew Pogba was a special style, i'd think he's taking the piss out of anyone who says he's getting transferred.

"what, i'm taking my medical they say ? here is a picture in a theme park, lets add 'doing medical' to ridicule the media"

I would do that.....but only if i was not beeing transferred.

Higuain ?

Everywhere we were mentioned in mainstream media when we signed him since it was record breaking.
Even if it's big move, most forums I browse and people I know have not been taking this Higuain deal in good light at all, alot of skepticism about the price, the price itself has made plenty to question him for his past choking (mainly cuz our entire goal is to win CL)even if he is obviously a real quality striker. The price is retarded crazy no matter what, but now it's up to Gonzalo to prove the doubters wrong by rising to the occasion in big moments.

Alright, fuck it. I'm sticking my neck out and saying his not going. Willing to put some money on it. I'm not convinced with all the media trash. No-one knows what pogba really wants, all this social twittering etc by him doesn't push it in any direction. Juve are calm and as are everyone else. I ain't going for this media frenzy but I'm looking forward to this being a troll that union fans won't forget. His delaying for real Madrid. He wants real, and unless they come in. His not going anywhere.
Not money, but let's make an avatar bet, one month long.

To think this attention whore has the same number as Del Piero, insane..

He is basiaclly trolling/being disrespectful towards Juve and Man Utd fans for Addidas money and spotlight.

I still think he will stay, But I couldn't careless if he does, 120M is crazy money for him.

The only retarded thing is the price (which is a huge factor of course)...but how the fuck can anyone deny this guys ability? Easily one of the top CF's in the world. And most of his choking has been in Argentina colours, which doesn't really concern us.
