I agree, there's more to it, but our financial position is solid atm and we have relatively high salary bill (talk about players leaving for better salary elsewhere), only 40m inferior to last year's United for instance. Although that is about to change for worse with new TV deal in England. Seeing how club had managed to spend 40m on Dybala last year, or to buy rival's best player for 32m in Pjanic left me with impression that we're looking to join elite clubs, top 3-4 out there and build a squad capable to mount CL challenge. Ofc you can't let your best players leave at the same time, which left me perplexed. I could have bought last year as transitional but we can't be for the 2nd year in a row in process of transition. Next year we might again lose important players and then it starts again and again. I'm dying to see what kind of investments wait us in the next 40 days. LEt's hope we learned our lesson last year. :xfinger:

The problem is that i just dont see how we can compete with the money other teams are geneating.
I mean, we can kick their asses year in year out in the CL, but as long as they have this stupid sponsorship and tv deals...they can just throw money in the face of players, and give them equally CL football and triple of our wages. Theres no competition on that.
It is all fault of the italian league.
Maybe we will have to generate our income by nurturing players and selling them a la Pogba. because i dont see from where we can get the money to offer those obsene contracts.

If I were the management, I'd go to Pogba and tell him that he will be staying here for 2 years, give him 8 million net, and renew his contract until 2021. Come 2018, if he wants to leave then, he can go. He will still get a shitload of money, and the fat shitcunt pig will still get his commission.
