No,sorry,it's just his sole love of his players future .Money are out of question. He is pushing Pogba to Redrats because of admiration for Pogba and his wishes for the best for him.Because MU are playing in CL and are among the three possible CL winners this year and are the best place for him, better than us. The same is for MIki , as he loves to call Mikhtarian, after offering him to every major club in Europe but that was Miki's will to go to MU and Raiola accepted his will ,so,he ended at Manchester .
Alongside with Jorge Mendez he is the best agent right now but please don't bullshit me that he is not doing everything for the money. It's natural but that is the truth.
I am with @zizinho on this. If he puts his own interests ahead of his players' then he wouldn't have made it far as an agent at all. You'd have seen him bomb his players's careers for a quick big buck and top players would no longer trust him as an agent. It would be incredibly bad business for him in the long term. Its not sustainable.
It is in Raiola's best interest to get the best for his clients otherwise his own career would go downhill. So yes his number 1 priority is that Pogba is satisfied and that other potential clients see him as a good agent to have. And that means providing the best service he can to those clients, be it to market those players to make sure they are noticed and hyped, maintain good PR relations with journalists to write favorably about them, get his buddies in business to sponsor his clients and feature them on their products, get a huge contract for the player, market him for the biggest clubs in the world and so on.
Its not like a move to utd would be bad for Pogba. He gets to be a key player at bringing back the club to the top and create a legacy there, he gets to have much higher viewership than he does right now, he gets an insane salary package and transfer money with it, his sponsorship money will probably multiply, and he should be competing for top honours in a couple of years.
The mystery to me is (1) that he could have all those things next year after having gave it another shot at the CL with Juve. utd will probably be in the CL by then and all the financial benefits from a united move will still be there. The money might even get better if he actually wins the CL or performs at a very high level in many matches.
(2) Madrid can provide everything that utd is offering him and MORE. He gets to have all the financial benefits in the world and gets to compete for top honours like La Liga in CL immediately. There is also the added prestige of Madrid and playing under Zizou's management and with an infinitely better squad.
If I were him, I'd either go to Madrid this summer or stay at Juve and move to utd or city or chelsea the next season (unless madrid's ban is removed or barca wants him). This way I either go to the top and get everything now (madrid), or I have another try at the CL with Juve (possibly raising my price in doing that) and also see which EPL rich team actually looks in good shape, and give Barca a chance to get into the mix.
