At this point the situation from our point of view is simple. We don't sell Pogba unless he pushes for the move. 120m is a lot but he is still only 23......we could get a similar amount even when he is 25. No rush on our part there.

Give Pogba a deadline to give us an answer by the end of the month.

IF he wants to move, then we take the money and buy Higuain and another world class midfielder (also using the Zaza money) and then close the window. Done.

---

This is why I am quietly confident that the move won't happen. Pogba is happy at Juve and "open" to a move to Manchester. Well being open and really wanting to go there is very different. Pogba will not be unhappy if he coerced to stay with us. No way.

That's not certain at all. His form might drop (unlikely but still), he might get injured, but the most important factor is that getting 120 or 100m can only happen if there is a team desperate to get him. Right now Manure are desperate, but they might not be in 2 years.

It's a win win for both teams if he is sold. We get €120 million and they get a very complete player who may turn out to be one the best in the world.

I just don't want to see us use the money on Higuain. We need to continue with the model we have right now of identifying good value transfers.

I really don't think Pogba is worth €120 million to Juve but with the EPL hype and world record transfer fee man united can market him better than we can.

he's way too marketable to sell. that's reason alone to keep him.

it also helps he's one of the best mids in the world and a very unique player. not many players have his characteristics

It doesn't make sense, you don't gamble all you got for one chance to win the CL, it is either a continuous project to be a contender year in year out or nothing of the sorts is guaranteed. If they are convincing Pogba to stay for only one year to win the CL then he wil definitely not be convinced and would prefer to settle in another team, in that case United, one season without CL football then start firing all engines from the next season onwards. One shot for the CL is never a convincing project, anything can happen and we have seen it many times how really good teams exit the tournament to inferior teams, it's all circumstances and chance. When you offer continuity and give it several chances it is then that one year comes.
I don't see it as a gamble, on the contrary - I see it as a smart move! He won't be having the chance to compete in the CL if they make the deal this year, so he stays and give it one more good try with our improved squad! Then next year, no matter what I see him gone...such crazy money + no domestic challenge...we will cash on him and go on like we did when Vidal left! I see your point, it is absolutely correct....but we need to know his intentions as Marotta said we wont be stopping anyone who wants to leave and there is a good offer! I think Pogba has to make a statement!

We can sign 3 very good players for that money and be a better over all team without him.

Same as the Zidane effect in 2001. Our team was imroved considerably with the money we got for him.

Serie A is a dead league right now so we won't get much marketability from him.

Remember the last time a top club in Europe sold their best players? Neither do I.
Yet for 2nd straight year we're selling one of our best players.

This is silly. Things are developing in a way I honestly don't like.

120 million is a lot for siena, not for juve lol.

120 is a lot in 2009. not in 2016.

martial cost 90 million. sanches 65 million.

bunch of no name kids are costing that much, and you guys think oh yeah let's sell our most marketable player and we will easily replace him with ..ot one, not two, but three world class players lol

do you even inflation bro?

imagine if barca sold messi to man city when sheiks took over lol

only at juve will fans justify the selling of their top players.

I think rejecting such a huge offer will really help our image and cement our place as one of the top 4 clubs in world football. That kind of thing attracts other players and fans enhancing our reputation.
As stated before we are not stuck for cash and there arent many players as good available to replace him with that we cant afford already anyway.

Only at Juve fans WANT to sell their best player to buy the players they like. Imagine someone on a Barca forum in 2008 saying "we should sell Messi, he will be gone in a few years anyway, might as well sell him now. Buy Rooney, Fabregas and Diego

lol

Exactly! It's absolutely not the other way around, accepting such an offer and strengthening the squad is a sign of weakness, it's repulsive for top top players, marketing and fans.
