I don't see this ban really happening. But if it will, you're right.
Anyway I prefer not selling him at all... but if he asks to leave I prefer Real, they have many players we really like.

I know, most here prefer him to stay. I was talking about a hypothetical scenario where our board was looking for the perfect time to sell him. 2017 wouldnt be that time in that case

Exactly! It's absolutely not the other way around, accepting such an offer and strengthening the squad is a sign of weakness, it's repulsive for top top players, marketing and fans.

When we let Vidal go i feared it would start a rot. We should not let it creep into our players minds that we are just a stepping stone for them to go onto bigger and better clubs we must make them believe we are the biggest and best club there is or that they will ever play for.

I can't believe that he would do this. Why the hell does the extra money matter to him if it's just for one year?
